My only thing is according to metacritic it's at a 95 ranked 56 with 85 reviews. But looking at the top videogame of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Sits at 99 with only 22 reviews and has been out for 19 years. It's almost like that need a Review score to a number of Reviews ratio score. Which games have the advantage. Less reviews or more?

Yeah I'm not understanding the SJW bit. It has no place for videogames. Unless we're assuming SJW will criticize it for being Father and Son and not mother and daughter. If it's any consolation this is Father and Son on a Mission to appease Mother's wishes. I'll agree with half of what you say. Graphics aren't the most important part of a review especially when you're reviewing games like Minecraft and Terraria. The story though I think should be part of the review though for this type of game other than that what's the point? Why make a voyage to spread ashes at the top of the highest mountain? Just for fun? Anyway a story definitely has it's purpose and whether that story searches a 10 an 8 or a 2 probably should get averag...

So the last game I beat on PS Now was Batman Arkham Assylum. And then I'm on the final boss now on Darksiders and the only reason why I had latency then was because I was playing on my laptop on crappy hotel internet. But other than that it works wonders. Kids can play any game they see and not have to worry about the download.

PS Now keeps increasing games and doesn't hog up my hard drive. 🤑

SOME games have matured and evolved along with their gamers. Deal with it, the great reviews it gets and the millions of copies it will sell.

Before I read the comments below, I'm one week and a day away from enjoying this beauty. I'm not thankful it lands in a Friday and more importantly the weekend. This game is important to the family especially the wife and I. This is just about the closest thing to watching a book come to life. Bring it on.

Yeah, I loved the article yesterday stating crossplay and oh yeah Sony needs to jump on board or get left behind, right before the embargo gets lifted. Meanwhile, Sony and it's studios keep doing what it does best; engage you in the Game, the Story and the Characters. Paying no attention to what others are doing or taking the bait. This is why your latest product deserves 10/10.

I can't forsee this game getting anything less than a 6. If it does it will be because it has no multiplayer and "looks" similar to other games.

Another think to consider is Sony's stance on crossplay regarding safety for kids. And has since then improved their child accounts and parental controls so maybe they're almost ready to take the risk with strictly 3rd party platforms.

So there is a possibility for 35 million PlayStation gamers to play again 35 other million playstation gamers if 70 million of then want to play Fortnite or any other battle royal. In think if playstation gamers wanted to play they would have enough people to play with. There's no reason why Sony should allow Microsoft or Nintendo ride off on its own success.

Interesting read as a gamer who is waiting patiently for this game. The most important part about it for me will be the story. Hopefully the relationship between the two as underwhelming is exaggerated but we'll see. For a different game style approach not everything will be perfect. As far as the combat goes I think it's what you put into it and your style if defeating enemies. I'm pretty sure I can come up with some creative shit. I really don't have a strong opinion negative or positive of loot boxes as they don't pertain to my gaming needs. I like The God of Wars, the Horizon Zero Dawns and Tomb Raider games. So loot just drops from downed enemies or via hidden treasure. Now with cloud gaming. Look at the PS4 pro and Horizon Zero Dawn and assuming for a minute they're not using any kind of cloud gaming. What more can they do with it if they choose to say when PS5 shows up.

Let's assume for a minute that Sony didn't have exclusive rights to anything Spiderman related or Marvel for that matter. Still, Disney parent owner of Marvel asked them to pick a publisher to publish a game. And that publisher to pick the developer.
