I’m thinking you keep the axe, steel the hammer and then when Brock and Sindrey can have your collect the appropriate materials to morph it into the StormBreaker Axe it’ll be used as a weapon intended for bosses. 😋
They aren’t the same….yet. Reading the interview with Jim Ryan and Gamebiz putting 1ST Party day and date titles on PS Plus could hurt the game. I mean just look at how little mindshare there is on Halo Infinite right now. But it seems to be an open playbook for Sony to allow Day and Date with their third party deals like Hogwarts Legacy, Forespoken, FFXVI, etc.
Sounds like your PS+ subscription will be renamed to PS+ Essential and nothing will change for you.
The Variables this article is basing the analysis off of is Elden Ring lol, supply shortages lol, potentially new hard for Nintendo. Sony seems like more than ever have to address the bar when it comes to to consistent appeal which I’d say comes with from their first party talent which is growing and how they evolve into the live services spectrum and how they morph their subscription services into something that benefits the consumer but also ensures their business growth. All while trying t...
This entire process seems dirty, shady, complicated and otherwise anything I hope Sony never touched it they can help it. Clean simple acquisitions without any baggage.
I know you’re usually pretty critical of Sony, but I think I’m going to agree with you on this one. The whole point of a live service is inherently MTX. Not everyone is a fan of them but there are those who are. And I think if Sony is shooting for 10 then perhaps when all is said and done there will be enough variety for everyone to like at least one and keep the games active.
Right? I mean if it’s not broke why fix it? Sony just loves to fix fixed things. I’ll give it a W.
So much baggage. Gross.
Classic Nintendo marathon approach. Good for them.
Agree. Sony doesn’t need a GamePass. Xbox went through nearly an entire generation without exclusives and third party was eaten up by PlayStation when it came to retail sales. Microsoft needed GamePass because if they couldn’t get you to buy games from them but surely you’ll submit to their subscription service. And if Sony does cater to this at all I agree multiplayer games would most likely get put on day 1. Not God of War Ragnorok where it’s doesn’t need to receive it’s profit in the form ...
I think what Sony is doing is just fine although I’ll be honest I haven’t seen a Nintendo Direct really but maybe once. But I like when Sony has at least 1 showcase a year to preview their upcoming 1ST party exclusives and third party deals. Then they have the state of play focused on a certain game in detail. My least favorite is when they do have to focus on Indie games only, but I watch just incase there is a game that catches me eye plus I know Sony will catch another wrath of shit if the...
I think I have an account with Epic. Haven’t used it in years. Honestly it’s the same with Steam also.
“Collecting loot was annoying” this reviewer said lol. Why play/review games at all then.
Written like someone who just wanted to watch a movie but really didn’t what to play the game. Didn’t want to be bothered to play the video game to win. Like lazy even.
Reading the article he sense to rather enjoy the game more and what he found as bad were personal nitpicks. I feel if I had read his review without giving the score number I would go as low as 7.5. He just seems to compliment the game more than the score deserves and if he thinks it deserves a 6.5 with the criticisms he listed then I know I’m going to love this game!!
In man that really is one way to look at it. In comparison Xbox’s games don’t really sell all that well especially like they used to. Halo, Gears and Forza raking in most of the dough. So GamePass is a less of a risk and then they don’t have to announce sales numbers. Meanwhile PlayStation games sell in the millions and Sony is like why fix what isn’t broken? Our fans actually enjoy our games and obviously value their cost.
Yeah, there has never been an open world RPG before Breath of the Wild came around. Also surpasses anything graphically that has ever came out.
For now on we’ll just have you advertise the basic plot of Gran Turismo. Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Some gamers: 7 = 4
Did you forgetting about the part where Kratos has to rip the chest cavity open of the boss in Helheim? First with his Chaos Blades and then further along with his bare hands. That wasn’t motor oil brother. That was blood.
