Monitor? Nah I got a big ass TV for that. I’m good.
Looks at FF7R. Y’all forgot about this title already?
You know, whether you like this article or don’t is irrelevant. Because it doesn’t matter. This is formatted as factual news that is not laced with any form of opinion. In like this. We need more news like this for all subjects. Not just gaming.
As a PlayStation guy who prefers the platform, I also have kids who still like to hunker down with Minecraft for whatever reason. Anyway it’s just more practical to get the kids a Series S. This way they are not scratching up disks and the price appeals more parents. Just my take on it.
Can’t wait to feel the breeze ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I thought this was an Xbox game
I know you’re getting a lot of thumbs down on this but you are not wrong. Microsoft is the second largest cloud provider behind AWS (Amazon) and ahead of Google. It’s smart for Sony to partner with someone who is experienced in Gaming and Streaming. This coming from a PlayStation guy.
As a PlayStation fan in really don’t think this takes anything away from Xbox Fans. And especially not their birthday. I guarantee Xbox games will still run just fine in the Series X.
If you’re squeezing into a crack in rocks with an SSD to support your game it’s because you’re going through caverns and such. If you’re slipping through a cut fence it’s because it was previously guarding a a faculty your breaking into. This is exploration, level design and puzzle solving. Not every game needs to be Fortnite where there is absolutely nothing until you build it.
The author does point out the marketing struggles: marketing the PS5 overshadows The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tushima. Coming out June and July respectively. Some of us are convinced we’ll see the PlayStation 5 in June and now I’m not so sure. I’m more expecting not to see anything until August. Even if they did a full reveal in August (console, tear down, features, price and games) that is still plenty of time to sit on that knowledge until December if Sony is planning to launch just before...
Now this is something I can get behind. Even though it looks like it’s getting played by a 12 year old girl. But I think this is just what interests gamers most is game play whether you’re an Xbox guy or PlayStation. Pretty sure we can all agree to that. If you want to share a trailer do so discretely on your channels or for a television commercial. Save resources and market more strategically this way you don’t get shunned for showing a bunch of trailers that gamers are not hungry for.
@AnibusG
It’s not about who has stock at all in SE. It’s the simple fact that these great sales will garner a sequel faster than if it say only sold 300,000 copies. If that was the case I’m sure it will be all hands on deck for FFXVI
Suck though. What is odd is my copy was pre-ordered and was going to be like another week. But I physically went to Walmart the day it can’t out at 8:30 in the morning. Yeah they had like 14 copies available. Next time we get a Pandemic I just won’t bother preordering. Retail l stores are still FTW.
I just don’t get it. I think there are so many obvious differences. I think people either love it or like it for what it is. Or hate because maybe they do like it but it stomps all over the Xbox fans ray of sunshine and we just can’t have that. Plus it now makes the Xbox controller rather boring. So hate and claim delusional copy cat when the differences are there whether you like it or not. I think it’s great. It’s a great fresh new approach. If Xbox team can manage to develop their own excl...
Sony is just being a very naughty girlfriend and teasing us with absolutely everything. I think at this point though they should have full reveals plans A and B. Plan A: Assume Coronavirus is here to stay a while and plan a larger than usual State of Play. Between now and the end of August. Anything later would be disastrous. Plan B: PlayStation Experience get schedule during a time frame of what would have been E3 if Coronavirus crisis is cleared (doubtful). Either way one of those events So...
It is the studio managers role not to only get the job done but also take care of employees. One has to work in advanced a sharp schedule. One that can incorporate night and day shift, leave requests and other common sense items. Working hard has its reward. Being taken care of as an employee should also be a priority too.
Hopefully next gen the ratio can be more 50:50. Microsoft bring on their A game and give AMD more reward off of their investment into Consoles as a whole. You know have Microsoft pull their fair share of the weight. Exclusive matter. I mean look at Nintendo and the Switch and how the Xbox family of consoles is now in the rear view mirror.
I don’t man. Sony still has a one year timed exclusive (FF7 Remake) The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima and the the third party CyberPunk 2077 and others like Resident Evil 3. Sony has seemingly ghost price dropped PS4 Pro to $299 and PS4 base to $249 if you look at Walmart and Amazon at least. Sony most likely wants to bundle something this year with the Pro this year. Sure they can announce and release the PS5 this year but it might get overshadowed by everything good going for PS4 ...
LOL. Your 11yo showed you how it’s done in the words of Barret!
Compressed or not compressed?
