As a true fan I really don’t care how they do it. However I think in order to maintain level progression and character builds further parts of the game to continue outside Midgar seem best to add as an expansion / DLC even at price. $10 $20 buck per additional segment. I think this would be the preferred way I’d like Square-Enix to approach this as a die hard fan willing to pay money for more content but not exactly $59.99 per. That is for sure excessive.
FF7 Remake for just this Midgard Portion is on 2 Discs for PS4. By the time it’s all said and done we’re talking what 10 discs for PS4 5 discs for PS5 and if it goes to Switch more like 3 cartridges lol just kidding. Bottom line though is god game is huge and the rest of it will be as well. I’m more than happy to relive this game no matter what.

Still crazy though. PS4 is at 108 million now selling at the price of $299 just for the base model. The same price as a launch PS2. The thing is we have seen what happens when PS4 is $199 during Black Friday. It gets sold out so fast. Is this what prevents Sony from dropping it permanently to $199 because of fears of not being able to keep up with stock? Not sure if anyone has noticed but that only a week away. Something should be announced soon at least through the ps blog to keep people informed. A week to 2 week notice so we can tune in into the big day.
The reason why Sony went with the PS3, PS4 and PS5 logo was simply to cut cost on marketing. It’s silly to think but it costs more ink to plaster PlayStation 5 as an official logo than just PS5. They know it, us gamers know it. And even your casual shopper will know what a PS5 is the future as common sense. The more efficient and conservative you can make your logo is just smart as long as people still know what it is.
Either way you want to interpret it, it’s doing freaking amazing.
I 100% look forward to what this game has to offer especially with it’s unique game mechanics. I cancelled my preorder through Amazon because it wouldn’t get here until the 14th or 15th of November. It’s called a change in genre. A genre that has sold in the millions. The customers are obviously happy.
I think what Nintendo has done is amazing. They’ve captured an additional crowd of people. Even those who love their current console are like he’ll instill need a switch too to play Nintendo’s games. I think what’s going be for Nintendo right now is the prices. I mean can you image if the base PS4 was permanently at $199? They would stay on the shelves. It’s evident of that during Black Friday Week.

When Sony talks hardcore gamer they mean those who buy it specifically for their Exclusives. Sony knows third party multiplats will take care of the rest.
I played Normal mode first and then tried classic. There no point in me wanting to go back to classic mode. Even in class I want to be able to do the attacks on my own so that negates the purpose. Normal mode for me. Hopefully a hard mode too.
