It's the 20% rule. A new model doesn't have to be that popular to "change the industry." If cloud gaming, subscription gaming etc. only siphon off 20% of the gaming market, they put a huge strain on the "traditional" sector -- resulting in studio closures, layoff, and companies shifting their focus to this "new growing model." Then, it becomes like a self-fulfilling prophecy; studios feel this new model is the future, so they shift to it, so then it becom...
I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.
Ah ok cool.
You have a PS5 and a PS5 Pro?
First few hours: "This game is incredible!"
Hour 10: "Wait, that's it? I'm going to be doing the same thing over and over for the rest of the game??"
New expedition too! Nice.
Return Fire (PS1). It has a Metacritic of 71 but it is one of the best games on PS1. https://www.metacritic.com/...
Not sure about the "Ages" system where you are forced to switch civs every so often. How is this a good idea?
The first LIS had an interesting and novel gameplay mechanic that made it stand out. The subsequent ones are just interactive stories, with less and less interesting gameplay, from what I found when I played them. So, when a new one comes out, I am not nearly as interested in playing another one of what will likely be the same, but just more.
Ive only played a few hours so far but it seems good! it starts slow, for sure. Which is fine. Because the environments, the voice acting and the story are very good. The guy who does Indy's voice is perfect! So far, this is a better "Indy movie" than the last two actual movies!
Guys, I haven't been this excited to play a new game in a long time. This is sounding really good.
I predict that sales for this game will be disappointing, even if it is good. That's because a lot of people will hesitate to purchase it fearing it won't be good. The fact that it's an Indy game will cause some die hard Indy fans to be unduly harsh in criticism of things like voice acting, story continuity etc. If there is even one bad clip, this will go viral and hurt the otherwise-good game's reputation. But, if this game is good, then a SECOND title in this series will sel...
The writer's take on PSVR -- totally true. But it's not just PSVR; for whatever reason all the VR companies just don't invest and support the platform like they should. Even the mighty Oculus Quest 2 + 3 have oddly feeble software support. I see mostly the same games and apps on the store now as I did 3 years ago. PSVR is another one of Sony's "abandonware" examples (along with Vita, PS TV, etc. etc.) that are just head scratchers. Like why even develop and release a...
Oops, this one aged badly, lol
Can we please just have F*t Princess back? How about that one, instead of stuff like this?
Yakuza 6 had a minigame called "Clan Wars" which was a pretty deep little side-game on its own. I could see them spinning it off as a standalone game.
I saw one article call it Red Dead Redemption in space, which if true would be right up my alley. But yes, never pre-order.
TLDR: they have bad stick drift and homeboy is sick of it.
I hope that the Yakuza and Persona series have been selling well enough for SEGA to keep doing them, becuase I do like those 2 series.
Looks awesome.
