well people have been saying it for a reason. PS3 has been selling faster, so they always predict that at one point it would over take it.
but this is the problem with predictions...they aren't set in stone, but they are created based on data
if PS3 was selling SLOWER than 360, these predictions would never have been considered.
the fact that a prediction of WHEN something will take place is wrong that doesn't mean the factor predicte...

at most, it will be effect the fanboys
sales wise, they are so close...it doesn't really matter anymore
what will matter is how software sales go...if they keep declining on 360 and climbing on PS3, expect more dedication from devs (even more, since we've seen a steady improvement)

I agree but what you suggest is just more content, which can be dealt with through DLC -
I'd prefer that than to have to buy GT6 in 2 years for 60 bucks again
rather have a 5 Gb 20 buck DLC with 200-300 more premiums, 5-10 more tracks and some other stuff)
to be honest, anything they'd add to GT6 they could fix via very cheap / very big DLC.
if they made a mega pack with 100+ more premiums, more tracks, more tunings, etc....interior views for standards, hud removal, etc (what ever it could be loads of random stuff)
and it was relatively cheap (say 10- even 20 bucks for loads more content)
GT6 could easily be reserved for PS4, allowing GT5 to become a slowly growing game over time =)

a) fable was better on PC, since any version of a game is always better on PC, however it doesn't meant the console version sucks

+ Sony / playstation has been profitable for the last year, sold more software out of the two HD consoles and selling faster too...so I don't know where that "loss after loss" =P
thats why I love to hate being a PS3 owner
not only are there great multiplat games (assasins creed brotherhood, batman AC, deux ex, crysis, rage, marvel vs capcom, etc etc etc....if i missed any sorry)
but then on top of that there are countless amazing exclusives to choose from, including this game
this makes being a budget gamer x100000 harder =(
