I think a lot of you guys are missing the point that gta was the number 1 selling game of the last gen and halo 2 was the number 2. Halo 3 has 4-5 million pre-orders. Halo will be the sales king by a HUGE margin without gta. This isn't fanboy babble this is simple fact. I think the new IPs Sony is showing are amazing (haze and Heavenly Sword) but neither title has even a 10th of the pre-orders that halo 3 does. If gta would have come out it would have outsold halo and taken its thunder. ...

Eternal darkness was an amazing game. The story and voice acting are some of the best i have witnessed.
Its my monitor (viewsonic 28"!!), it has some kind of problem with showing red when you look off access. I need to rma it but i just haven't gotten around to it.

Could it have something to do with time travel? Per the monitor the last time the ring was fired the master chief fired it. He talks about how the chief asked him what he would have done and after having considerable time to think about it his opinion still has not changed. He makes tons of comments that lead you to believe that he has met the chief before yet the last time the ring was fired was millions of years ago.

Well that doesn’t ruin anything if you are a big halo fan and know the story. Why do you think bungie keeps saying its the end of the story arc. He is the new optimus prime; killing him makes him even more of legend. I just find it hard to believe that bungie would advertise this fact. It is implied in halo 2 but they dont just come out and say it. Do we have any conformation? I can't pull the link up at work.
