I wouldn’t give the orange box 10s but that is simply because I paid for hl2 and hl2 episode 1 and I have played them both to death so it isn’t much of a deal for me (and ep1 kinda sucked). TF isn’t my bag of chips and I feel that halo 3 and what I have played of the UT3 demo provide a much better online experience. I would basically be paying 60 bucks for ep 2 and portal which is a horrible deal.

Am I the only person who understands that halo 3 is drawing 2 640p images simultaneously? It is 640p for a very good reason; the best hdr that has been put in a game. Drawing 2 720p images simultaneously would have been impossible due to ram limitations. Saying it is simply 640p shows a complete lack of understanding of how the halo 3 engine works.

I agree with you on the 10 year old game play. Then again I still think the game rocks. I have been playing a ton of halo 3 and so the lack of a melee button and the embarrassingly bad jumping are hard for me to adjust to. 2007 is for sure the year of the xbox but in 2008 the ps3 has a much stronger looking line up in my opinion. MS dropped all of its uber titles this year and has left 08 looking grim. MGS 4, gt 5, kz 2 and that is just the tip of the iceburg. MS has fable 2 and too human for 08.
I think it is very possible that it will live that long but to be honest i dont want it to. Dont jump on me for that but i think it should be replaced with the ps4 sooner. I may be alone but i like it when new systems come out.
