Mighty you should check out what is going on with the mac pro and the 8800gt now. Mac has made it so pcs that came out 3 months ago can not have the gfx card upgraded. So even though you can put another card in the mac pros they will not run the card. There is an online petition right now to have this changed. if you boot in windows any card will work but if you boot in os X only the card that shipped with the machine or older cards will work. Considering the whole gfx card scandal that is currently going on with the new macs and the 32x pci-x slot I would have to say no, Mac will never get serious about games. Who the hell plays games and buys a machine that you can’t upgrade the graphics card? Apples sells 1 year old gfx card for 150 bucks over the price of the same card for pc.

Polyphony has been trumped at this point. Most reviewers agreed that forza 1 felt much more realistic than gt4. GT4 is largely panned by most GT fans anyway. You are right Japan hates the 360. Yet they gave forza 2 a better score. This finally puts to rest what most real car nuts have been saying for years. For simulation with out a pc go with forza, it just feels more like a real car. Sure it is a GT clone but I prefer the emphasis on physics over graphics that forza offers.
Forza 2 was rated higher and it only cost 20 bucks more for 10 times the content. For an american game to out do any GT game demo or not is a big deal. That being said i didn't plan on getting anything but the full version anyway. Why pay 40 for a demo? That is stupid.
Graphics wise Gt5 destroys forza 2 though. The cars look so real it is a bit scary. Lack of a c0ckpit view is also a huge flaw with forza.
They could save a lot of time by just showing which ones where good. Talking about all the bad sonic games is really time consuming. 1, 2 and the first one on dreamcast were good. Everything else was trash.
