Warhawk trophies are full of grind and luck based trophies, not much skills requared to get them. Just hell of a lot time and luck. Skills do however fasten up the progress a hell of a lot as its painfull to get points for General rank if you get 10 per game..
Some of the luck related are still fun tough. Gives some funny moments for those ppl who dont really hunt for trophies when they manage to bull up a kill or a trick and get the trophy bling after it.
Actualy its not always the gold and silver trophy that take the skill. There are plenty bronze trophies that are way harder to get than silver and gold trophies.
Not to mention the oh yet so annoying "grind" trophies. I mean like in Resistance2 I can say that some1 is pretty good player when he manages to get the OMGWTFBBQ trophy which is probably the hardest one in the game.
However one needs 10,000 multiplayer kills in order to get platinium, now thats grind ...
Do ppl really get some odd pleasure from rating bossibly good games on rival systems bad? I mean seriously?
Those ppl should really grow up, and metacritic should remove their whole user rating system.
This is just the reason why they have beta testing, to get this stuff fixed. Bad thing for those testers who have oversized libraries of MP3:s on their computer though :/
Well how do think windows would be if Nvidia and Ati wouldnt produce them efficent drivers, blue screen of death any1? :)
But before installing any linux is really recomable to check out the driver support. There happens to be better support for Gforce atm but Ati is bit on the rise from what I have heard.
From my experiences its odd that you mentioned flash which is available as a packet for atleast ubuntu. (.deb)
@vdesai
Thats not even good linux desktop image.

Ubuntu is as easy to use as Windows if not easier. It is just that its not Windows and it will never be windows so those who have used windows for their whole life can feel a bit out with it.
However with current distros like Ubuntu you can pretty much search from ubuntu package manager and mark the programs you want to use. Safe and easy as hell.
Then its pretty much same as windows, start menu->choose the program->use the program.
However your poin...
Well that is because of the way Windows has been built. Microsoft cant chance the whole system in just few years, they would need the re-create whole windows from scratch to remove that kind of flaw.
Its some design flaws in the registry that cause this, and the fact that Windows doesnt completely uninstall everything from the aplication you try to uninstall. Not to mention the fracturation of HDD which doesnt seem to be issue with any other OS.
If that is true and Windows 7 runs fine with less than 1gb of ram, then I can only say that they are going to the right direction.
I personaly want to use my ram for something usefull instead of giving half of it away for operating system that should run fine with as little ammount of ram bossible.
Well I have no doubt about the fact that Polyphon digital could make pretty good new IP
Having a new game that innovates the way GT did when it was relased could do great for many genres.
as for Gran turismo series...
I am a bit conserned about the fact that their vision of "next gen" differs from mine.
Personaly as a GT fan I didnt like prologue, it was just too similar to the already relased GT games. They need to move up a bit ...
Opera has one big advantage over firefox, it doesnt take ages to open up and it works way faster on my computer. However I tend to use both as Firefox seems to work better on some sites with loads of java and flash.
Also loving opera mouse gestures and Speed Dial.
Turned it off a quite long time a go, and it helped a bit. But didn't really solve the issue and it still keeps bugging me once in a while with its error message that pops up to the bottom of the screen.
Funny thing is that the actual problem might not be Vistas security but the way the whole platform is build on needing them. why do we need 2 firewalls and 2 virus scanners when other platforms do fine with none? (and no, its not only because they are lesser used.)
Opera and Firefox for the win.
I dont even have Internet explorer on my computer :P
"But as I understand most people that have a problem with Vista simply haven't ever used it."
This argument is a bit harsh as this is one of the things no1 can be sure about.
I could also say that the most ppl that are happy with Vista simply havent ever used any other os than windows os.
10 minutes of using mac for example do not cover even the time you need to learn a new system (yes even windows takes time to master)
Most of the ppl tha...
Yeah, hopefully well get some more competition, as the Mac os x and Linux distros have really much potential. But they need more support from the developers and for that they need users.
Are the facts that they will probably have more automated functions, less customization and power to chance your desktop the way you want it to be.
Not to mention the security which really goes over the top with VISTA:s chase where the system clearly askes you for aproval to even freaking sneeze.
What I want from my OS is that its quick and easy to use while keeping it customizeable and optimizeable for the users needs. If you want a desktop with only firefox icon in it ...
"Those Apple ads actually do more harm then good a study found that most people who watched those ads were less likely to buy an apple product after watching those ads."
"what I heard" is just something you might have heard or made up. Theres no way one could go in to ppls head and see how they react to adds. We cant read ppls minds and theres no real "default oppinnion" about this matter.
You cant really tell if Adds help anything e...
My oppinnion differs greatly. There has been not a single time I have used vista this year where I wouldnt have screamed that "I seriously need to install windows XP"
I do understand that many of the issues I am having with Vista are related to the fact that my computer has 1gb of Ram.
But then again I dont use my Vista computer much, basicly because I took a leap of faith with my older computer (about 7-8 years old Compaq presario 6000 with 700~ Ram and 1,6g...
"@Viper 7
Linux is not Windows. "
But it is competing OS that lets you upgrade the old operating system without any cost. However you are right that the business model differs greatly with Windows and Linux and one would be fool to even think about getting a free upgrade to next version of windows free of charge.
Imo Both PSN and XBL should have somekind of group support. I mean why not allow ppl to join a group and be able to communicate with every1 in the group. These groups could easily be made for differend forums, clans etc etc.
This way ppl wouldnt need to add every1 to friends just to keep them on touch.
Also having events would be a lot more practical this way.
I got plenty of Finns on my list but I wouldnt need to add every1 of them if there was some group option ...
