I like the way this game is worked. I cant wait till it comes out so I can check out this expansive universe. I was even thinking about checking out the eve online so i could play both sides of the game. I'm excited for this one!
schindlers list was a horrible movie. This is a stupid argument anyway. Saying games cant be emmotional is like saying a painting isnt art because you dont like that particular style. Art can be anything and emotions can be drawn from anything. If its not your style than go away and stop hating on other peoples parade.
i hate arguments for this kind of stuff, if you get addicted to anything it's not the things fault its yours or perhaps the fault of some mental issue you may have. Obsessive behavior and addiction are not caused by games and violent behavior is not caused by violent games.

frankly im not concerned about ps1 games, I have a ps2 games i wanted to play on my ps3 and i could with my original release 60Gig but that one got the YLOD and now i have a 120gig that doesn't play those games so tell me more about how this is an issue that doesn't exist.
I went into my network settings and turned ofF the 3g functionality because i'm not opting to buy into that just yet. Now it says no signal in the corner instead of giving me a signal strength im not using.
I'm still on my first charge and got about 4-5 hours of playtime, and its still at like 30% between games/downloading demos and games/netflix/checking out various functions of my new toy.

psone classics are a joke. They took out the reverse compatibility in ps3s because they said it wasn't cost effective and people did'nt use it enough to necessitate the reverse tech, but then they start selling the games in a downloadable format and calling them classic. I CALL BULLSHIT! Give me back my reverse compatiblity that i bought in the first place and stop trying to sell me games i've already bought in the past.

they are just changing the name to appeal to a larger demographic. I think they are trying to get away from calling it a video game console because "game console" implies its a toy for kids and they want adults to buy they're "entertainment center" and i think they are planning to do more on the TV services and movie services and what not so really it is more than just a game console.

why is it people are diagreeing with you? are they at your house watching you play skyrim. I didn't have a lot of problems with mine either. Just some frame rate drops mostly, the worst of witch was in whiterun or when there was a lot of action going on, oh and i did see a backwards flying dragon once. The framerate issues have almost stopped completely(just a small half second glitch ever now and again)
edit: oh yeah im level24 with like 70 hours of play. not sure...

I agree, its not the type of game everyone would want to play. Honestly the only gripe i have outside of some glitchy framerate here and there is going to go along with one thing the author said in which the game is broken in certain aspects like where he said the after the driking contest he was put in a town where in his game his character was not welcome. Nice article, I totally agree with the mounted combat(what kind of warrior cant lop off some nuggets from his horse right?) The art and online community ideas were also a nice touch. Beast taming would be cool and if you have a pc version i believe there is a mod for that.
I have the ps3 version and other than an occasional framerate glip I dont seem to have any problems, definitly nothing game breaking. I thing the 360 version looks like the textures come through much sharper however the particle effects like fog/snow/dust seem to work better on the ps3 version. They are super close though so this really seems kind of a stupid argument.

i think everyone is missing the point here. Yes those choices by todays standards seems borish or sexist, however you also have to remember that the events of this game are set in a time reminisant of midevil times where a point of view of having multiple partners even within the same lifetime was frowned upon let alone 3 in the same month.
I think preordering is showing trust in a developer or brand. Most of the people willing to throw down money like that have played similar games before and have been happy with the progression of the series so far. If your blindly putting money into something you know nothing about than yes that is disturbingly stupid, however This is what like the 4th or 5th installment of this series.
