You have no way of knowing this. We will only find out after the launches. And even then it may take months or longer for systems to become fully optimised.
Remember there is physical power, OS optimisation, drivers, game engines, and not forgetting the most important - developers.

This is actually big news. A console selling out in Japan. The PS Vita and the Vita TV is helping in Japan.
Just look at how dominant PS4 demand in throughout the globe. It is the must have hardware over the next 6 months or so. Sony cannot make enough of them.
For whatever reason (great product, MS mixed message, great games, etc.) Sony have a winner on their hands with the PS4. And they know it!

Neither PS3 or the 360 have taken off in a big way in Japan even though PS3 has sold well in this past year. This is massive news. We know thw Vita and Vita TV will be big over their - I just never realised how big the PS4 is all over the world.

Am a bit surprised that the game saves cannot be done on external HDD. Even PS3 has always been able to copy saves on USB stick and external HDD. Why such a lame omission?
Was interested when he said all saves are done on the cloud. Does that not suggest an always on-line system? Am I missing something here. This seems like a basic feature for any console..
For these prices they should! At least a couple of demos pre-installed to show the different features of your controller and in XB1 case the camera functionality. Good point!

That's not the point. Give people choice not forced decisions. I ordered just the console at the start of June from ShopTo. They have sent me emails this week confirming my Day One purchase.
They have also told me of other Day One bundles should I wish to swap but this is only optional. I am sticking with my £349.99 purchase. Glad to have the choice, though. Well done ShopTo - one of the best!
