Is Tales of Monkey Island an update of the classic Monkey Island? Or Something else entirely. I haven't paid attention at all to this.
Millions will buy this, and millions will let out a collective groan when they realize how much money they just spent on something that is effectively a big song pack for Rock Band 2. Just because it has the beatles on it doesn't make it special in any way. They're just songs.
I'm really confused...does the article say anything about CoD or Halo? I don't understand what you're condemning. Should he have called out all of those games...despite the fact it would be completely random and impertinent? Or are you suggesting he's somehow saying that it's OK for those games, but damnable in GoW? Which I assure you he is not.
Oh wait, I forgot that I already made an oath to stop trying to understand the rambling gorilla logic of fanboys.
Played this at E3, and it's kinda lame combat and gameplay, but the way they handled death is absurdly interesting to say the least.
I was so dissappointed when the amazing idea that was the Wiimote devolved into waggle. Ugh, still makes me sick. Really curious to see what the solution is.
I was surprised by the quality of this game. I thought Double Agent killed the series.
The E3 demo was pretty cool, but I have my doubts about the formula holding up over a long period of time and being able to justify its $60 price tag.
I'm not convinced about this one yet. We'll have to see where it goes after launch.
You expected to see the sequel to a game released only 8 months prior to E3 when the original sold terribly? You sir, are a madman.
I played this at E3 and it's actually really boring. Didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe it's just not suited to the fast paced show floor though. Might play better once I have time to relax and put some time in. Seemed like a simple action/adventure with combat and puzzles thrown in. I was hoping it would basically be Bioshock with Batman. Which is to say that being Batman and exploring Arkham in the aftermath of the prison riots would be similar to exploring Rapture after the war.
Runescape totally slipped under my radar and then all of the sudden I'm like "What? 2 billion player installed base? Really?"
Peggle pwns. You're just jealous.
I was really surprised by all of the positive reviews surrounding this game.
I absolutely ADORED the original Patapon, so it shocks me to see it get only an above average score. The original was one of my fav games of 08.
I actually don't know anyone who has a Wii Fit, and I can't see that changing.
I think both sides of the issue have merit. I don't particularly care for the God of War style upgrades, but I loved Patapon. You might say that Patapon was the Master of Unlocking.
A new Metal Gear is practically certain.
lol this is amazing.
This is a good article, and one that people need to see.
