I would like to know what your definition of a fanboy is... I started console gaming life with a Master System, then a NES, had a little break and then got a PS1, PS2, a Wii and when I have saved enough money, I will get a PS3. I have made a conscious choice not to get a 360, because I am not convinced by what it offers? Does this make me a Sony fanboy? Do I now fall into that category because I have sided with the Sony brand, or do is there more to it?
I think one thing that g...
Didn't this story come out in November 2005?
I would like to point out that I think this is totally bogus. But if everyone did start doing what Microsoft has done, the console industry would likley turn to sh*t. No one would buy launch kit for fear of a remodel a year down the line, the consumer and devs would turn to PC because they realise that upgrading a computer is cheaper and possible, so the consoles wouldn't sell. Unless consoles start becoming more liek PC's so you can crack 'em open and change the parts, then this can onyl be ...
To be honest, I think that's the point. Developers have realised that while graphics give a game the wow factor, the sotry is what keeps players coming back for more. Pitching it as an interactive movie as opposed to a game will entice a much bigger audience, if done well
Your right on that one point, gamers have channged from the 8-bit days, but not only is it a good thing, but it also because of demand. Gamers demand better games as the technology gets better. We demand better graphics, longer games, more immersive games, because belive it or not, the are actually more fun and engrossing than side scrolling 2-D platformers. Yes, they are great for nostalgia for those of us old enough to remeber them, but that's all.
The point is, if you want b...
There does seam to be alot of speculation as to this characters nationality, or even if He is indeed a playable character or a protagonist.. the acent is very hard to distinguish, and they are not givign alot away with His apperance... could be Russian, Eastern European or as suggested Middle Eastern (although I'm not convinced by this one) I'm guaging more to something like hungarian than anything, could prove to be a much more in depth story than we have seen in a GTA game before, as oppose...
ha ha, ha ha, ha.... jackass
It shows how popular it is though, Gametrailers racked up over 45,000 downlaods in 50 minutes
Thanks, the gametrailers version was downloadign at about 6k!
I must admit, I wasn't wowed liked I thought I would be, but those graphics do look pretty damn stunng, when you consider what the size of the playing field should be... I guess we will have to wait for ingame shots
Disappointed with the length, but those graphic do look pretty damn sharp... I hoping that now we will get bit and pieces of information from now on, more and more details... I can't wait for some actual in game footage
Now even www.rockstargames.com wont load... nice one. Mayby they forgot
Even if they were to release the game as a surprise, keeping almost everythign a secret, then they would be careful enough not to let the date slip to an online retailer... come on, think about it
Now I would pay $600 for a console just to play THAT game... A black, weed smokin wise cracking snake... now theres your movie!
It's tradition, it wouldn't be Europe if we didn't get screwed in someway or another at least once every three months
Wow... go back 15 years and this would have been as unbelivable as Halo 3 exclusive to the PS3. I get the feeling half the people who visit this forum arn't old enough to remember the 8-bit era
If your at all confused about the time, I suggest you just go to the site. It has a countdown clock, I am sure you can work it our for yourselves...
What kinda of a lame assed attempt at flaming is that? It's a tournament, for gamers, to have fun and show off fraggign skills. Stop with the fanboy crap already! I haven't got a 360, but I must admit this game is a console seller. If it wasn't so short, I probably would get a 360 for it. That and Forza of course.
I can't belive I havn't seen that NES before... did it ever make it's way to Europe? Blowing the cartridges and hitting it repeatedly was half the fun, made you feel like you earn't the right to play the game... right?
Halo in Disneyland? These guys shoudln't be stopping games, they should be designing them! that shounds fantastic, mayby more of an Unreal Tournamnet kinda game though...
