It's a good read, but it's not an interview. Nice to hear their main three will still live on though (can't wait for another Quake)
This should have been put in the rumor section, not news.
"So take them with a grain of salt, confirmed as something, but still unofficial."
The best comment is actually on that version of the article. There is someone talkign about because it is blue laser technology, this means we can have 5TB blu-ray discs.
And as for the reason this is so much hotter? It has a flame bait title, mentioning Blu-ray and HD DVD was bound to cause an argument
I knew I had already seen thios, bet it won't get removed though
This is the funniest thread I have ever read in my life. Your all commenting on it, yet 50% of the poster in here have no idea what the article is. It hilarious.
I keep reading how this wonderful new disc will read in a DVD player. It's not a Terrabyte DVD for gods sakes! It says DVD-sized. As in a HD-DVD disc is DVD sized. As in a Blu-Ray disc is DVD sized. As in Audio Discs, VCD and SACD. You will need several thousand pounds worth of technology, you won't just be able to plo...
"Putting costs several months and several million dollars on the side of uncomfertable, this may explain why there are hardly any games out for the bloody thing!"
"At the time time of writing, the 360 in my house is currently bricked because we had the gaul to try and play games on it"
"Woo check me motherf*cker, I'm normal mapped"
Very funny video, but these three comments made me p*ss myself laughing. Brilliant!

All been seen and posted before, all you had to do is look at the related stories list. Here it is simplified, for those of you that can't read:

That's a very good point, bubble for you sir. From what I can work out (in my tiny little brain) is that it will go one of three ways:
a) The players on blu-ray will have damage visible to all, and the players on PSN won't (because the cars will deform in real-time, no way of stopping the PSN players from seeing it)
b) Players on blu-ray will not be able to compete with players on download
c) Damage modeling will be disabled for online play

Sorry, apoligies you are correct. Heavenly Sword started development on PC with a view to moving onto next generation platforms such as the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. It had been stated that the title was in development since 2003 with footage of the original PC version published on TeamXbox.com in 2004. It had, at one time, been up and running on an early Xbox 360 prototype but this was abandoned in favour of the PLAYSTATION 3 when the title was picked up by SCEE.
So it wasn'...
Do you have any idea how compression works? At All? No, I thought not. I never said compression was a bad thing, I said uncompressed is always better, which I'm afraid is an undeniable fact. It is used 'all over the shop' because yes, the differance is negligable, or because restrictions are made i.e availible space, but the preffered option, if availible is uncompressed data
As far as I am aware, this was going to be an XBox game, not a 360 game (I could be wrong on that point).
And as for the remarks about being lazy, it has nothing to do with lazyness. Uncompressed sound is better quality than compressed sound. Just like uncompressed texutres are better than compressed textures. Just allows them to deliver better quality without worrying about space, nothing to do with being lazy.
Few Problems:
To get MS IPTV you haver to go through Live, which you have to pay for year on year. Sony's solution (which is nothing to do with IPTV) requires a one off payment, for access to a hundred channels (increasing all the time) for free.
You can watch on demand, i.e you don't have wait for downloading, and streaming isn't an option in the UK cause the majority of the country can't get better than about 2.5mb connection speed (I am personally stuck at 1....
I love the way all of the discussion is focused on a rumored bad point of the article, completly skimming over the good points. The writer of the blog suggests the idea of it not being free, because therte is a blu-ray version, and he/she doesn't think that they will charge for blu-ray and give the download away free. Just speculation. Why not focus on the good points?

Agreed, they should be wasting there time trying to stop thier kids getting their hands on these games, not stopping those of us old enough to play them from getting them! Uptight bunch of do-gooding b*stards!
It's alright people, it's just a mis understanding, he clearly just got:

This guy is renown for beign anti-capitalist and for being more importantly, anti-sony. This is not the first, and sure isn't the last article he will write against Sony. He has a habit of making up stories and conspiracy theories to generate interest in his blogs, and quite frankly it's pathetic.
The PS3 is not in half as much trouble as everyone at Microsoft would have us belive, Sony are always in it for the long haul (hardware wise). The problems might start arising when MS...
