That's awesome! You should record that and upload it. :D
Hello. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that you can vote on your favourite of the two games at the bottom of the article (like with all of our Versus pieces).
It was probably much cheaper to do 8-bit visuals. You don't really see many games with amazing pixel-perfect 2D graphics like in Symphony of the Night, etc, nowadays.
Yes, the voices in those anime cutscenes are so bad that they're good :D
Agreed. I grew up playing Castlevania on NES and didn't find Super Castlevania IV to be that hard. However, the author of this piece is completely new to the series and Super Castlevania IV acted as their introduction to it. So, you can imagine how challenging it must be if you're unacquainted with the franchise's mechanics.
And, yes, the soundtrack is one of the best in gaming history. I could listen to it every day.

Thanks! :D
Do you mind elaborating? It would be helpful so we can decide on better screenshots in the future.
Are you referring to the 3 screenshots in the article? If so, do you mind elaborating? It would be helpful so we can decide on better screenshots in the future.
Thank you for being specific. We'll keep that in mind from now on.
Indeed. It's amazing!
The author of the article didn't decide which games would receive awards. The whole staff did. We reviewed DQXI and weren't blown away by it: https://videochums.com/revi...
That's not nice.
It almost made it but didn't quite outrank any of the games that we ended up choosing. Incredible game, though!
You have great taste! We reviewed Monster Boy as well and absolutely loved it: https://videochums.com/revi...
You can say that again! It brings me back to playing SNES games with my friends growing up.
Yeah, it's awesome! :D
We published one of the few critical RDR2 reviews and agree with your points 100% - https://videochums.com/revi...
Technically, you can't emulate this collection because it's a high resolution port of a PSP game. For the unfamiliar, this means that SotN features content that isn't in the PS1 version. For example, playable Maria, 2 extra Familiars, etc. In other words, it's a unique concoction. Even if you emulate the PSP game, it'll have poor resolution compared to this.
Yes, that would be awesome!
Just a reminder that you can vote for Mario Kart or Mario Party at the bottom of the article.
