Yes. However, this one has an excellent story that actually enhances the main plot. Plus, it allows you to play through 7 tombs from the main game in time attack and score attack mode which is a very cool addition.

I own both original Star Oceans on PSP (Star Ocean: First Departure and Star Ocean: Second Evolution). Not sure if they're available digitally but if they are, you might be able to play those on Vita.
