Sony should have given some form of compensation to those with PS3 phats. When I bought a ps3 on launch day, I bought it for the vast amount of features it had, and OtherOS was one of those features I liked and bought it for. It wasn't the main reason, but it definitely factored into me paying 600 bucks for the ps3. If I would have known that Sony was going to remove the feature I paid extra for later on, I would have just waited for a price drop.

I played the KZ3 beta and honestly, I found it to be even more boring then KZ2 (which I did like). It just felt too similar to every other FPS. If I had to choose, I'd choose Bulletstorm, mainly because it's fresh, different, and doesn't take itself too seriously. And it actually has color.

Don't try to replace it yourself, you could damage your ps3. Go to the electronics spa on ebay (they're a top rated seller), they only charge 65 bucks to replace the laser for you (you have to pay shipping though).
I sent mine there and it's been fixed and I'm currently waiting for it to come back.
The controls in GTA4 were absolutely terrible. Your character felt like he was wearing a backpack full of bricks, and a ball & chain around his ankles. Not to mention the driving controls sucked complete @ss.
Saints Row 2 is MUCH better than GTAIV, and the only thing that GTA4 has over SR2, is graphics, which lets be honest here people, nobody plays a GTA game for the gfx.

Be careful, your controller could stop working. This was probably just a very rare occurence for me, but my controller was f*cked up after using it on my pc.

MotionJoy doesn't really make a difference, Thanatos. I tried MotionJoy on several titles with my DS3, and they all felt clunky and inaccurate compared to the ps3 versions of the game.
Having your ps3 sent off to have the laser fixed is MUCH cheaper than buying a new ps3.
