It's far from a critical success its lived on its own hype. It should have been a great game and it didn't live up to its hype. It's unfortunate but 360 has a lot more great games coming out and won't need this to keep it going like most people think. The devs are clearly losing there marbles by thinking those perfect scores by fanboy sites really mean there game is a critical success.. It's an average game lets move on people...I think this is fanboys trying there best to...
People asked how can they improve on the first game since you can basically create anything? Well this answers that. They added a lot more in depth cog like items to make your own AI etc.. The clock people made were impressive but LBP was still limited this game will broaden what you can make with the games engine. They will probably make it run better on the PS3 so you can fit more on screen making more complex and bigger levels too.

My SST has broken and my son loves it so I needed a new copy.. These games are £7 each normally new I know its for charity but an extra £8? Hmm... I will probably buy it though I only want SST and Tomb Raider. Still a god deal for people who never had any of those games.
IGN get "incentives" by companys like MS to not downscore games on there consoles this score just proves Sony doesn't use dirty tactics to get higher game scores. If the 360 version of FFXIII got a lower score from the big sites it would have hurt sales so MS decided to send an "incentive" there way to make sure everything was "fair".
Activision only signed Bungie as a partner to get everybodys minds off the whole IW scandal and it worked. People are now excited again for Activisions next game after saying they would never buy a game from them again. Great business by Activision. They really know how to work the market and take the heat off them when they messed up.
Galaxy a 10 though?? No game ever deserves a 10 as that would say its perfect and EVERY game always has somewhere it can be improved.
8.5 seems bang on as most reviews say either 8 or 9 so 8.5 seems right.. Shame this game ain't what MS wanted it to be but not every game will be AAA. The hype wouldn't have helped either..
I agree on this point there are only a few maps but this is because of the sheer size of the maps they take a long time to construct. Maps on games like MW2 are a LOT smaller so they can pump them out a lot easier or devide single player maps into more multiplayer maps whereas with battlefield they cannot do that as the maps really are HUGE. Not to mention the level of detail that has to go into every single map.. Maybe 2 more maps and a couple of new game modes that would massively expand th...

Medal of Honour is beating ported from PS3 to 360? That's different you would have thought they would do both versions together but I guess it saves money porting. Porting usually means 1 console gets a bum deal though... As PS3 owners found out the first year or so of the PS3's life..
Viva pinata is a great game just terrible for a console it should be a pc only game. When they ported the original game to pc it was so much better.. Strategy games like that are not made for consoles unless you can use a mouse and well that's made for a controller. Great game though don't get me wrong but the controls is what turns gamers off.

Of course it will as they probably wont do an exclusive deal on this one which will kill the sales like with fallout 3. That DLC deal killed the PS3 sales which sucked for them as most the people I know who were huge fallout fans only owned a PS3. There PC's weren't powerful to run the PC version..
Remake would be a great idea always said it as long as they don't change ANYTHING just up the graphics. I wouldn't mind them maybe adding some more materia like the ones in the Jap version that was removed from US/PAL version other than that I have no issues with a remake only people who do are people who truly think it will ruin it (only a true few people) and 360 fanboys who loved FFVII and hate PS3 who think it would be a PS3 exclusive.

Cannot believe this is coming out in 2010! This was kept very quiet and is no doubt gonna be a GOTY contender. I bet MS wish this was coming out 2011 instead as this is gonna hurt Halo: Reach for GOTY 2011. Honestly I loved the first game and wondered how they could improve they blew me away with the answer.
