@Jack Klugman - FF13 hasn't even sold 1.6 copys on 360 yet it's only sold 1.3 million worldwide where you get you numbers? It sold just over half as much as the PS3 version (not including the jap sales). Stop being a complete fanboy and get over yourself. The amount spent on FFXIII for 360... well I doubt 1.3m sales will cover it.. lets just hope the money they got off MS covered the rest eh? Been saying this all along just because its open world single player and made by rockstar reviewers immediately gave it a near perfect score just like with GTA IV.
See this isn't Valve in general this is Gabe and has always been Gabe he is the one with the problem. He is the lazy dev not Valve and since he has a lot of power there that's why you see no games like L4D on PS3.
Most real fans of the franchise bought a ps3 in wait of FF13 when it was originally announced as a PS3 exclusive. I don't think they care about other gamers and I don't see why they should. Also keeping it to 1 system means a better quality game meaning more people will buy it for that system. I hate that! I hate the fact you pay for something and get ads.. Whether it be live, a game or an digital magazine. With games an live the price you pay is so much you shouldn't get ads I mean you pay for the product give it free users with ads for funding if you wish. As for digital magazines they usually include just stuff available freely on net anyways then claim they need money from ads to keep price down on the mag?? What they paying for exactly?? There reviewers pay check?
MS knows its getting harder and harder to justify that Xbox live fee especially everytime Sony match there features and add there own unique features. But without the fee MS couldn't afford to pay for exclusive and Xbox would die so MS needs to do something to make it worthwhile and fast and I think after adding facebook etc.. they are running out of ideas..

FF13 almost sold double on PS3 outside Japan (They know it won't sell well enough to localize it so that's gonna go against FFXIII versus). What's not been confirmed yet is the 360 version runs at 720p... So all this and the 360 version could also be sub HD... its been released to pirates now on the net so it's not hard to test (they used a pirate version to test FF13).
Of course those who blasted those games for being sub HD wont blast this but the fact is the game being sub HD on PS3 is lazy developing on rockstars side as the PS3 has proved it can easily put out high end graphics at HD resolutions the 360 cannot. All the best looking games on 360 are sub HD (don't you say rockstars games as they don't compare to Alan Wake and splinter cell in terms of graphics)

@cgoodno Virgin provide there own cable broadband so the capping wouldn't be an issue since they own the ISP. So virgin in this case would be a great option as fibre optic broadband is 10X better than ADSL as you always get a steady speed. I doubt this would be to touch PS3 and 360 but maybe it would hurt wii as this would hit the casual gamers as hardcore gamers wouldn't really be interested in this.
