Actually no as you could always re-sell a pre-owned console.. Though you are right but it is possible to sell more pre-owned than new its highly unlikely in fact near impossible.
they usually got loadsa 360s as they nearly all been banned from xbox live as modders get banned they trade in the banned console for a new one. This bumps MS numbers up and there is loads of pre-owned 360s in stores. I know quite a few people with pre-owned PS3's but not 1 with a pre-owned 360.

Its all because all of the coverage of GT5 and the fact Forza 3 is so damn cheap here (£15-£17). GT5 is actually helping sell Forza to 360 owners thanks to the hype behind it and the fact its still not released. The cheap price is the icing on the cake as for a game not out that long ago its cheaper than a greatest hits game.
Sony are sending the MOVE out to techies and normal reviewers and not gamers and in my opinion they are doing it the right way with MOVE. It's just all going right they aren't doing what MS is doing with NATAL getting famous people to show it off and pumping millions into advertising. MOVE's advertising is gonna pay for itself here. Really impressed with the accuracy review considering how accurate wii has got since motion plus.
Not once have the Alan Wake devs remedy said MS are funding there game they are working with the 360 only because they are a small team of devs and the pure size of the game. They tried to make to make for PC too but they were too small for even that. There is no reason why after 360 release they couldn't port to PC/PS3 but right now all they want to do is get the 360 version out and do a damn good job of it. No exclusive deal on the latest game and no definite word so we could see it come to the PS3 6 months after 360 or whatever so he could be right there however he is clearly wrong here there are still 3rd party devs like Level 5 out there who will never release there games on 360.
Wouldn't care that much about the 360 version no game on the 360 usually last more than a week in the charts in Japan. You can bet the PS3 version will still be there next week. Thing is with No More Heroes though is most fans of game have already got the wii version plus most people want motion controlled version. Most businesses moved onto USB drives from floppy. They have officially stopped making floppy drives now so its obvious the demand for disks would die down eventually. Although you think 12 million is a lot some countrys are slow to move onto new technology like USB.

There is no disdain towards PS3 people initially thought S-E supported PS3 and not 360 as FF13 and FF13VS were both exclusives when Mistwalker was formed. So people assumed as they didn't like S-E and S-E seemed to love Sony that's why they only made games on MS consoles this was clearly untrue from there its all been Chinese whispers. Mate trust its no more to develop on one console than another its all about skills and no doubt these devs will have them and if not pick them up easily enough. Its all about want and your right about money in some ways I mean why spend millions developing a game on 360/ps3 for it to sell a million and make a minor profit when you can make a game for DS that costs you in the tens of thousands to make and make millions back from?
They are working on nothing more than the DS now they are making a lot of money on there and are happy. Looking at sales of all there games they probably didn't make hardly any profit on 360 and relied on MS funding to get them through considering how much them games would have cost to produce.
They may come to PS3 once enough consoles are sold but right now I cannot see them coming back to a console.
This is what we are gonna see more of Jap devs sticking PS3 only since 360 is so badly failing in Japan they cannot pull any profit at all in there native country so they won't bother. A big company like S-E with there own shipping companys could afford to do it as they shipped an English version of FF13 to US and Europe however smaller devs like From Software cannot do this as they rely soly on third partys.
