It's free if you have a PS5 that can take disks. The thing that's annoying is that it will download both versions and you have to make sure you delete the ps4 version. Happened with Nioh 2 recently.
It's crazy that the game is 40 looking as good as it does. If the reviews are good it's a day one buy now.
They had an article saying that skyward sword warrants it's 60 dollar price...so obviously they are crazy. Returnal,Deathloop,Kena(Which is 40 to preorder!!!), Oddworld as a plus game,FF7R. That's a good show to me.
People were mad that they made miles Morales and horizon 2 for ps4 as well and now are mad that something isn't on ps4 as well...🤔
I just wanted people to know that buying the ps4 disk is the same as buying the ps5 disk. So you save 40 dollars buying it on amazon now.
And Nintendo charges 60 for wii and Wii U remasters and you need to pay 15 a month for "free" xbox remasters. So everyone is doing it.

It's on sale for ps4 on amazon for 30 right now. If you wait for the ps5 disk you're paying 70. Take advantage of that free upgrade people!!!
When EA of all companies just announced all 3 mass effect games in HD with all the DLC in one package for 60 dollars...how can you defend that pricing? It's insane!
If you only have a switch and not a PS4/5(And P5 was also on ps3) get the free 15 day trial for funimation and watch the P5 anime that has the same voice actors/ music that covers the story of the game.
They want to sell subscriptions now.
And in a year there will be a X cloud app for tvs and phones...so you won't even need to get the console.
No way they will go multiplatform. Nothing obsidian and ninja theory have released since being bought or announced has gone or has been said to be going to PS4 or PS5...so i don't know why Bethesda is a special case. They are just keeping it vague so they don't seem too anti consumer.

Well i assume it would be more expensive just like the oneX/Pro. Nintendo doesn't sell at a loss either. Are people expecting a switch pro to be the same price?
Nintendo can't get games out fast enough without having to worry about 4k...so a 4k switch would just make games take longer to make.
I didn't say it was a negative. It's just a weird list of games. If they made this announcement with 1 or 2 classics mixed in it would have had a bigger impact.
Kinda weird they decided to upgrade games that a very small amount of people want to play again...but still cool tech if it's easy to apply to all the games.
You will need to buy it again. But at least the standard version of FF7R PS5 comes with the DLC.
