GDK development kits got introduced in 2021. Pretty sure the MVC collection didn't start development before then. And if your story is true that would be a bigger scandal...developers working on non GDK development kits suddenly had to redo all their work in another engine wasting time and money?
Capcom didn't use RE engine for the MVC collection so they could have a xbox version because xbox players don't buy games anymore.

Why would there be no PS5 pro this year?
PS4pro got announced in Sept and released 2 months later in November.
The Capcom Arcade Stadium is a classic game collection that used RE engine that doesn't have a PS5 version.
The PS4 works fine on PS5 and there is ZERO need to have PS5 version so they went back to MT framework. What enhancements are people assuming a PS5 version would have?
This MT engine cope is quite funny...because if Capcom wanted it on RE engine it could be done. But they decided a xbox version wasn't worth the effort.
You know the point was PS vs XBOX.
If PC makes it invalid as an exclusive then 0 xbox exclusives on your list vs 4 PS exclusives on my list.
You could say Rebirth will be on PC eventually...but some of your list of xbox exclusives will be on Playstation eventually as well like Doom, sea of thieves, hi fi rush..etc.
The last fighting game collection is also just on PS4. It's a port of the old games so i don't know why there would be a need for a PS5 version as you can just buy the PS4 version on the PS5 store.
The 2 monster hunter stories games that just came out and rolblox are PS4 only games that you can easily buy on the PS5 store as well.
And maybe the last collection sold like garbage on xbox to the point that a port now would actually end up costing C...

Those are the list of games that are playstation console exclusive just for 2024. Not on switch or Xbox.
I could add a bunch more games that are just on switch and PS like the MVC collection...but it's already pretty clear who has the most exclusives.

PS4 and 5 players can both play the collection and zero xbox systems can play it...let the Copium flow.
The game doesn't have crossplay. They don't want to seperate PS4 and PS5 players by having a PS5 version so it is just easier to have the PS4 version for both.
Hades sold 7 mil on steam alone. Disco Alysium 2.7 just on steam. Plague tale Requiem(is this even AA?) is at 3 mill. How did they not get attention?

I completely agree after playing the demo to the new jujutsu kaisen game...ugh.

Maybe the From Software engine is such a mess that it is not worth the cost or time for Sony. Bloodbourne is one of the lowest selling souls games.
And even with Elden Ring selling 20+ million they still haven't patched the PS5 version to play at 60fps. Only way to play elden ring on PS5 at 60fps is to play the PS4 version on PS5.
But maybe Bluepoint is working on a remake as that would be the only thing they could charge full price for and be worth...

Game gets announced...and the complaints pile in to justify piracy. It's old so it should be 20 dollars, psn requirement means no buy but i will pirate, it's just a port they didn't even remake it and it doesn't have every graphics option ever so I'm getting the torrent.
Personally DMC3 is my favorite prequel. MGS3 is top 3 though next to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Kinda surprised Red Dead 2 isn't IGN's pick for best prequel.
So if Sony bought Square and every Square game was exclusive to playstation it would be fine but 3 Square games exclusive to PS5 and several on other consoles is worse?

RE5 already has a PS4 version that can be played on PS5(6 bucks CAN right now). As well as RE0, RE1 remake/PS1, veronica, RE6 and both revelations.
