Jesus christ you're thought process is quite something...can only a Japanese developer make a sequel to those games? You don't think there is overwhelming support for Bluepoint to do it after the Demon Souls remake?

You couldn't put a UMD disk into a VITA but you could play your purchased PSN PSP games on it. They could have transferred eshop purchases but they wanted the double dip.

Helldivers 2 selling 12+ million already offset the money Concord burned.
They have been sitting on Rare and Banjo Kazooie since 2002 without producing a GOTY level family friendly game...but all 3 in one game would be hype now that i think about it. High chance they f it up though.

Suicide Squad is the 14th best selling game in the US this year and sold dlc so that at least made some money back and Redfall didn’t look like it had a massive budget ,still sold copies and was just suposto be gamepass filler. Redfall only refunded the season pass.
So with the reported budget and zero sales due to refunds its definitely a bigger flop than those 2. I would would assume it is the biggest flop unless there is a google or amazon 500 million MMO that crashed ...

Sony also has deals with games releasing on day one on Xbox. Callisto protocol got development support, RE games have marketing deals,etc
And Microsoft still has 3rd party exclusives like with Stalker 2 and Contraband.
So everyone is doing the usual and this isn't really a special case.
Any game pass day one deal helps fund development. It's the same with lies of P, persona 3 reload, exoprimal, etc.
Same with Nintendo and Sony exclusives like SMTV and Stellar Blade. The money given from exclusivity funded development.
It's getting crickets because it's a "no duh" article about something that's happened several times before this game.
While the game isn't for me the game looks good. Kinda wish some of Bandai Namcos anime games looked this good and polished.
Hopefully developers and publishers are on top of this and scooping this talent up.

The PS4 disk for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 can be played on a PS5 and can be purchased digitally on the PS5 PSN when it launches.
There are zero ways for this Collection to be played on any Xbox console.
Rival schools was on playstation, Rival schools 2 is japan only on Playstation(kinda hoped they localized it as it had a dating sim type story mode) and Project Justice (RS3 i guess) was on Dreamcast.
I don't know if it had different names in other countries but there are 3 different games.
Rival schools instead of capcom fighting evolution would have made this perfect but still a purchase.
Xbox has a smaller share of the market(miniscule in japan) and still raised the price(twice this year) of the series X in japan...so everyone is doing whatever they like.
If all the souls games exept elden ring are considered linear then sure it's linear.
Sell it on Facebook Marketplace, kijiji, Craigslist, etc. At 300 it should get sold quick. Gamestop in canada(maybe US as well) has trade in deals occasionally for consoles (extra 50 or 100)that should get you to 300 and over.
