It’s my game of all time.It makes me kind of sad because I don’t know if I’ll ever like a game this much again.
Imo days gone isn’t even in the same league as god of war, or GOT for that matter.
I don’t think it will take as long as people are assuming. I’m guessing late 2021
Honestly in a way you are very right. The game deals with some complex emotional themes. It takes emotional maturity to empathize, and a lot of people came out of the game mad that Ellie didn’t kill Abby. The people that couldn’t empathize in the end, the story didn’t connect.
I honestly believe if the leaks never came out people would be far less divided.
Sure the game would still be divisive but the leaks and plot bullet points made the game seem so shallow and nothing at all what it’s really like. People had a whole month to cement the idea into their heads that they’d hate it and that Neil ruined the game, instead of giving the game an open minded and fair chance.
So to me it mostly comes down to those who went in with an o...
Give it another shot. Think of the parrying almost as a rythm game. Once you get it down the fights feel so badass.
Personally i likes sekiro far more than Ghost so far. Sekiro has better combat, more enemy diversity and more fantastical environments. GOT is more realistic and has gorgeous art design.
I totally understand. Certain aspects are a 10, but I think other aspects fall short making it an 8. I think if sucker punch had been a bit more daring and added some depth it could’ve been a 10/10 game.
Uncharted the lost legacy only has a 84 and that game is phenomenal. I’d personally give got a 88 and the lost legacy a 95. I think it’s insane persona is the highest rated.
It’s got a fun dynamic but no, it scored well for what it is.
Agreed. I’d love naughty dog to make a Sci-fi or fantasy game!!
Why do Ac games look so unpolished? And just... old. I don’t get how exclusives like Spiderman, GOW, tlou2 can look so much better when the teams are the same size or smaller. Ubisoft needs to focus on changing things and making completely new experiences.
Exactly. They are basically saying the story is 40% of what makes the game. That is just so narrow minded. the game has so many parts and plot is just one of them. It’s a reviewers responsibility to a knowledge a games story/acting/emotional impact even if it doesn’t personally click for them.
I’m sorry but just not true. Granted rdr2 is a MUCH larger game, so they are at a disadvantage but no tlou2 is far more detailed.
They definitely need a major rework. Sure it’s a new game but same old formula over and over. They only way id play AC again is if they revitalized it like god of war did.
And you need to admit to yourself that to a lot of people this game is A 10/10.
This is my favorite game of all time, and I’m definitely not alone in that opinion.
Same! It took me a good 24 hours before I finally decided I loved the direction they took. It’s a game you’re suppose to ponder.
That or get rid of user reviews like open critic. How many reviews does tlou2 have now 120k? 25X as many as GTAV. So stupid. The vast majority of those negative reviews have never played the game.
Yeah that complaint just doesn’t fly, the gameplay is VASTLY different and improved from the original.
Prone mechanic, quick throw, dodge and melee combat, horse combat, enemy communication system, new crafting, new weapons, manually dislodging arrows, dragged out of cover.. I could go on. All NEW mechanics
After reading your comment I honestly believe you’ve never played the game. Either that or... you’re a bit dense. Abby blatantly shows remorse she even tells Lev and Yara she rescued them to take a load off her conscience. Did you not notice her nightmares that only went away once she had redemption (saved Yara and Lev). It was pretty heavy handed.
Ellie has a flashback of Joel playing guitar right before killing Abby. She chooses love/acceptance/empathy over hate/revenge. ...
