Abbys father understood it was a horrible thing but he was willing to do it for mankind.
Joel even states in part 2 “they were actually going to make a cure.” Everyone assuming it wasn’t a done deal are making assumptions. The idea was that that it was going to work.

The last of us Part II is the best game I’ve every played. It’s an opinion. I hold it in higher regard than any other game I’ve everplayed. Just because you have a different opinion doesn’t mean I’m somehow wrong.
The close mindedness I’m seeing surrounding this game is seriously damaging the faith I have in humanity.
I love that people like to compare this game to Star Wars.. it’s ridiculous. The way movies and games are reviewed is vastly different. The last Jedi wasn’t review bombed it was actually disliked.

Neil Basically says that when he experienced a twist such as MGS2 he thought it was awesome. He didn’t want to spoil the twist in part 2. A trailer shouldn’t reveal much about the game, I don’t get what people are complaining about. Do you want the trailers to reveal the entire narrative?

The only reason it’s being bombed on metacritic is because the leaks painted it in a poor light and people decided they hated it before even trying it. Do you honestly believe even 1/3rd of those 0/10 scores have even played the game?

It’s deserved. Some people don’t agree with the story choices but you can’t deny that the gameplay, environments, graphics, and acting are phenomenal. I don’t agree with certain choices they made but man it was still a hell of a game.
