All I can say about BOTW is I hate most open world games and almost never complete them. I don’t know why exactly I just get very bored pretty early on.

BOTW is the only open world game, besides RDR2 I’ve loved.

4. Dark souls 3
5. Bloodborne
6. Uncharted 4
7. Uncharted the lost legacy
8. Final Fantasy VII remake
9. Dead cells
10. Red dead redemption 2

Talk about copy and paste, then you mention nioh 2?! The game literally feels like DLC for the first game! Not saying it’s bad but it’s almost identical to Nioh 1!

So many good games this year! The only silver lining in an otherwise shit year.

Yeah a year with:
TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII remake, Animal Crossing, Nioh 2, Ori and The Will of the Wisp, Spider man Miles Morales, half life Alyx, Dreams, Resident Evil 3 remake, Demons Souls Remake, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Watch Dogs Legion, and Cyberpunk 2077 is SUCH a “weak” year.

It’s not forced in TLOU2. That’s just what the vocal minority has been spewing.

I am seeing a weird trend on N4G and Twitter. A lot of people that bash TLOU2 have an anime pic as their icon. Why is this?!

It’s a top down rougelike based in Greek mythology. You do a repeat loop trying to escape hell as you unlock upgrades, hear stories, and learn enemies and get better at fighting.

It’s really good.

Hades is amazing for what it is but to say it’s anywhere near the level of TLOU2 is insanity.

So much for the narrative that HALF the players hated this game. I think it’s more like 1 in 10 .. maybe less

Let me just add. I hate most open world games and usually quit midway in because I get bored. I really dislike AC games, but I’m really enjoying this. It feels more like a sandbox than a quest driven open world game.
