Me too. But it definitely failed to deliver. There's better games that us the experience that Doom once gave us.
Like I said in the editorial. I think Nintendo's motivation is more control over their creations, rather than the money that Let's Players make with their videos. They want to be the ones to have heavy influence on the perception everyone has on their games and IPs.
I think the Content Creators have every right to be upset at how their business is being affected, but its all a double-edged debate on both sides.
Dividing opinions come from people talking about the game on podcast, editorials, and more. Not just reviews of Bloodborne. More than a few thoughts on the game from a variety of places.
But Angry Joe aside, everyone agrees that Nintendo isnt doing the best thing to be profitable. Is it something more deeper is the question I'm asking everyone.
Nut couldnt there also be a different goal here for Nintendo outside of money. Because logically any company or person would see the potential here with the Youtubers, especailly since so many other companies already have to date. Nintendo, even with all of their resources now, can definitely see that as well. I think they openly chose their actions now because of something that everyone is overseeing because of the obvious reasons that have been stated. Hence why I said it has to be a contro...
Its much more than that and I dont feel its as simple as a lot of people are making it out to be. There's a whole lot more to unpack on the issue.
Going to pick up the game sometime soon. Almost did when I got my system. Lots of dividing opinions on it, eventually I'll get to seeing myself first hand. Even with my disdain for Souls games, I'll dive in to get better clarity.
Looks like a straight up scam. A complete FAIL of a joke.
Me too. Its going to be awesome playing it on Vita. Will probably do my New Game Plus on Vita so I can go for the other trophies.
It'll probably end up like $14.99 because of possible cross-buy for PS4 and PS Vita versions. Its still worth the price tag though IMO.
Hands down I still love this game. It really deserves the high score I gave it. Even if there isnt much different between this and the PC/Xbox versions, it still is fun to play and looks gorgeous on PS4.
The game is really that good and well worth checking out on PS4. The narration during the game I think is the coolest thing about it. Just sounds and feels so different than a lot of other games.
This was an interesting direct, despite not having the announcements or arrivals we wanted. There were a lot of surprises.
I dont feel the term "video games" restricts the medium at all. I feel a lot of that line of thinking comes from people that constantly scrutinize or rather give into the scrutiny of the medium. Much as the same way "Gamer" has been given a lot of negative cogitations lately, yet isn't a negative subject to begin with.
I think the term "video game" is just as relevant and positive as the phrase "digital entertainment", how one is be...
There's a lot of good games out now to play. Q1 of this year was a very good one. Makes me optimistic for the rest of the year.
It is, the execution however is not that great. so many things could have been done MUCH better. Had that been the case, we would've had a big hit on PS Vita. Instead we got a FAIL dud.
There's still plenty to play on Vita. This game just happens to be a dud that most Vita owners should avoid. There's much better titles in the ecosystem.
I wish such a game existed so I can play it. Would be great if a publisher could have a good game like that released.
Still havent clicked with games like Bloodborne or Dark Souls. It just doesnt have the same pull for me as it does with everyone else.
Me too. I think it was smart of Square to bundle this with the FFXV demo. A lot of people would've dismissed it as another failed attempt without playing it had that not been the case.
Its actually good and has some great starting points for future FF games..
