not at all.. NOWHERE NEAR a 8.5... but its time for the noname fanboy bloggers to come out, so i'll guess we'll start seeing a bunch of these..
HA!! the review scores from the BIG known review sites (no one knows or have heard of boothammer) are accurate. So now these little review sites are in "defend their purchase of Destiny mode"... too funny. Little fanboy bloggers are so funny
who care what this dev says.. Scope and art is NOT what we spent $60 on.. The review scores have been pretty accurate so far.
it does in a way deserve the bashing it's getting, but the REAL kulprits in the mess are the IGNs, that hyped this game to hell and back and didn't bash Activision like that should have when they didn't send out review copies (first sign of issues), but let that had been EA or other publisher not sending out review copies and they would've been MURDERED in the press. People need to read up on IGN conflict of interest with Activision and the IGN ProLeague. Now we as gamers are ...
Titanfall was actually a really good game...
we have learned the power the OVERHYPE from IGN!!! We have learned that IGN has the power to overhype the hell out of Activision titles (or titles very similiar to CoD) and they will not hold a publisher of their liking feet to the fire when that publisher tries to pull a fast one and not sending early copies to review before launch. If EA tried to pull that slick crap, it would've been crush in the so called "game press", yet nothing critical of Activision was said when they d...
this is a stupid article.. it's getting low scores because it was WAYYY over hyped and nowhere near what IGN (Activision business partners through the IGN ProLeague) hyped it up to be. 6-7s are pretty accurate
Activision knows people buy games based on reviews, that's why they held off sending review copies to review sites before launch. But they ALSO know they had IGN in the back pockets to hype the game to hell and back, and wouldn't bash them for it, like they would've done any other publisher... So yeah, Activision got over on all of us with their business partner IGN (Activision bought the IGN ProLeague).. It's actually pretty crooked and pathetic that us as gamers were the vic...
Yet another random person with a blog that's throwing some score out there to be different.. People that have actually played this game know that it's NOWHERE NEAR a 9.. Nothing to see here, move along people..
Just some random person with a blog throwing up a score... This one can be ignored for being nowhere near accurate..
This is so true!!! When will folks realize that Activision (with IGNs unwavering help) are the masters of marketing spin?? They're business partners with IGN, so they don't have to worry about them holding their feet to the fire. But let another publisher try to get away with having a launch game without review copies, and they'd get SLAUGHTERED by the so-called "unbiased" game press. This has NOTHING to do with the fact that it's a MMO. They could've sent early ...
what's next after the hype????? Reality sets in.. People better learn to stop letting IGN "hype" them to the point of crazy on Activision titles, because they DEFINITELY do this every year..
wayyyy over hyped!!
it not bad.. just NOWHERE NEAR what IGN hyped it up to be.. But Activision/Bungie got over with a brilliant PR stunt. Convince review sites (that are already over-hyped about it) to not do a review before lauch knowing that the game was going to be just average. And when you as a review site are in bed with the publisher through you business actions (Activision owns the IGN Pro Leage), then the review site is more than happy to do what the publishers says. But this is ultimately to the detrim...
over hyped..
THANK YOU!!!! that exactly that the hell this is.. A scandal that folks are willfully blind to. Let EA or any EA dev try this, and that stupid biased Activision fanboy reviewers @ IGN would've slaughtered them in the press... fuc%$*@ pathetic.. if you're gonna do reviews, then do the damn review. No matter who or what game it is..
pathetic that these review sites are willfully letting this game get a pass when any other publisher or dev would've been slaughtered in the press.
evidence of this pathetic biasness and lack of integrity culminated when Activision got in the bed with IGN through the purchase of the IGN PRO-LEAGUE. Talk about conflict of interest. Now IGN overhypes ANY FPS from Activision to hell and back (even more than before)..
Ha! No the expansion won't "save" the franchise... Franchise is just fine from the work done in the CTE.. But since most of N4G are CoD fanboys, they probably have no idea what the CTE is..
