Blame Activision's business partner in the media, IGN for the over-the-top-hype.. (see Activision purchase of IGN ProLeague. Conflict of interest much??)
wayyy to many legitimate critics have put this game between a 7 and 7.5.. if that was an EA game, that would be a mediocre as hell in most people's eyes (this isn't a flop, but isn't anything at ALL to write home about)... and this game is just that and only that, mediocre has hell. This industry is so full of biased fanboys to the point of being comedy...
yeah.. this review is pretty much garbage... pretty much just trying to justify their purchase of the game..
blamme that market hype on IGN and anything Activision related... its a dumb, pathetic practice that wont stop anytime soon unless we make them stop.
nope.. not a bad choice at all.. maybe at launch, but 3 months after launch it was already turning around, and now with this Fall Patch coming up, it will be a TOTALLY different game. you bought BF4 at just the right time.

OUCH.... that's not too good at all. As much they were hyping this game to hell and back before launch, i thought they would be saving grace review-wise.. guess not.. Here's to hoping they're honest and critical with their CoD;AW review as well (yeah right)..
of course if dominates Twitch @ launch.. that's the product of OVER hype and OVER exaggeration from IGN before launch and Activision not sending out review copies.
this mode and trailer actually does look pretty cool.. but of course, because it has EA in the title, folks are going to butthurt about it...
or you can save you money and trust the Metacritic score and user scores of this game. Although people hate to admit it, usually it's pretty spot on, when folks take the fanboy goggles off.

how the hell can you bash a game and then turn around and try to defend it with the "OMG, i can't stop playing"?? Get real Polygon, either say the game is mediocre as hell, boring and repetitive and give it a 6/10, or rave about it, say you can't stop playing it, and give it a 9/10. You can't have it both ways.
