We do indeed know exactly what a 70$ next gen game is and you needn't look farther than Demon's Souls PS5. A game built from the ground up for next gen only that takes advantage of all the bells and whistles the console has to offer, just like.... Returnal.

Alot of people sleeping after seeing it's HouseMarque whom has always only made low budget Arcade style games but don't seem to realize this is a full on AAA big budget title with infinite replayability.

The benefit is essentially controlling the entire Fighting game scene / Massive brand reach that creating a new Tournament would never do since nobody would have heard of it as EVO is worldwide recognized brand name / Another massive stage for game announcements, if they were ever going to announce PS All stars 2 it would be at EVO. The only complaint Godfall has against it is the lack of matchmaking, otherwise its a pretty good game to those that ACTUALLY played it, which most of those who negged on it, clearly havent. Gameplay is top notch (go watch vids on Tower of Trials, i dare you) content is there with the new Primal patch as well as DLC 1 coming soon.
