MAG seems to be very much a hit and miss with people.
For me the gameplay is OK, however they billed the game a command structured 256 team based shooter with and because of this it wouldn’t turn into a frag fest or cluster fvck. Well I think they solved this by just making the respawn points miles from the action. Other that than there is no command structure in most of the games. (oh and frags bounce off thin air)
Controls feel loose and copy COD, so straight away...
Actually the multiplayer rocks. Best i’ve played this or any generation. It would be the one reason why I’d get a 360 again if the game is not a timed exclusive.
I seriously loved it. Spy v mercs, 3 x 3 with one side a TPS and the other an FPS. Because the rooms are small you communicate more, thus make more friends. You have to learn both sides and they are very different. Now this is what I would call a team based/squad game. There is nothing like it.
errr... no it's not. It's an OK game, that needs seriously improvement. It's selling point is the numbers and the organisation of the game play. I've seen no organisation that is any better than SOCOM or K2 which means the battles are too big.
It's what everybody hoped wouldn't happen. will score 80/100 on meta if it's lucky.
PD didn’t get up on stage in front of millions and say “this is the definitive racer of this generation” about 20 times. If they never said it everybody would be like “amazing game”, but stupidly they raised expectations. Gurilla Games created the same problem for themselves, but in a different way. They however delivered.

You probably will not get any new game announcements for a while. Too many games got delayed and both Sony and MS likely to keep us focused on the games coming for the rest of this and for the first six months of next year. I guess its “marketing 101” and it works for me.

I'm with Morganfell on this. I love this game. I picked it up in Feb 2009 so didn't have any problems. Best team shooter i've played this gen. If it was released out the box like this the it would get 9s across the board.
The menus and how you navigate still need a lot of improvement and S6 could learn from other games, however for pure game play it's untouchable.
I checked the patch out and the glitches seem to have been fixed, along with a lot of small improvemen...
They told you about the peng, but forgot to mention the cheats... OK... very strange...
The cheats also only provide limited money and nodes, so they don't really level you up either. it's only about 6 nodes in total if you include the money.
Those tech demos are to game engines what a bullshot is to a screen shot.
You should only trust what you can currently play and then you won't be disappointed.

4 friends on my list haven't got the bbc iPlayer. I've only asked 4 people so that's 5 including myself. I guess it didn't come with this FW
