Why? FFXIII is multiplatform.
EDIT: @ Denial. Ahhh, OK, I see your point. But is kind of like not really ironic seeing that SE has released tons of games since 2006. There is a difference between “scheduling” and “delay”.
I guess we’ll agree to disagree.
Small developer, 6 years, one game, one investment, one egg, one basket, one platform.
I think if you could create a guide to running a successful games studio then the Alan Wake direction is certainly a way to mess with the Finance Director’s head.
@FOXGOD… Sure, but that’s not the point I was making.
I was under the impression that SONY wanted to push this console in the developing regions such as South American where HD TV’s aren’t really an option. We get sales data for the US, Jap and Europe all the time. Doesn’t mean the PS2 isn’t selling worldwide.
With a huge back catalog there doesn’t need to be any new developments.
It will be interesting to see if the ME series and SC:C comes to the PS3 this year.
The announced games so far make both companies offerings look about equal. If those two/three games come to the Sony platform then things change for 2010.
I'd hardly call you a casual...
They stop at PES, FIFA, Madden, MW2 or anyone who really just plays a couple of games in the year, for fun, with their mates.
Strange that have you have every type of game in that list yet exclude PS3 exclusives. My list would have a few exclusives from both consoles and multiplatforms. It’s amazing that you have a ps3.

The 4 main reasons why I prefer my ps3 are all hardware related.
1.The guy wasn’t kidding about the noise of the 360 DVD.
2.My router isn’t next to the TV, so I don’t have gold membership because wifi is extra. I’d buy one, but I don’t need to because the PS3 has it build in and has free online.
3.The frigging power pack on the 360 isn’t built into the system. It’s big & bulky and I can’t hide it behind the TV. Looks messy.
4.I can’t upg...

Unless you have a fulltime job, I think most will miss out of 3D for a few years.
The problem with prequels is that you know the ending and probably the events leading up to it, thus there are no surprises.
Infamous was quite story driven so maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. The first game was great, so the second has a lot to live up to.
Yeh... maybe we'll finally get to see more of The Agency and DC Universe.

Splinter Cell: C and Mass effect series to PS3
I was under the impression that it was Blackberry that actually dominated sales around the globe. Their half the price and have more functionality.
I’m happy for somebody to correct me…
very true. Better than 80% of games this generation.
I liked it, but stopped playing because of no v.chat. They need to patch it.
The could also add co-op, i.e. 2v2, with v.chat so you can hang out with friends, talk sh*t while shooting a little pool. I reckon people would love that. it would then become on of those games that someone would say "you wanna play a little hustle"? after finishing a game of fifa or mw2. Pool has always been a social game IMO.
Yep... I'll second that.
Why would you want a game to get poor reviews?
Mass Effect 2 can join Dead Space, fifa10, AND Mirrors edge on the list of great games EA has produced over the last few years.
A studio the size of EA can't please you all the time.
IMO you are everything that is wrong with the games industry today.
FFS... you actually wanted it to get poor reviews!
lol... 3 bubbles for a reason
I guess I was confused because he added Tyson to that statement. Ali yes, no question. The guy is a 20th century icon.
Tyson is a convicted rapist who was a good boxer for a few years. Popularity and income aren’t something you would associate with him. Ever.
I’m pretty sure he meant it how it was written.
Dead Space? FIFA 10?
Yeh… I can really see those two defend a takedown by Anderson Silva and then watch him dislocate their shoulders with a quick arm bar.
Even an average MMA fighter would take down the very best boxer. They have too much of an advantage.
And creating multiple accounts isn't?
