There is no bigger PES fan than me. I have bought every single one since the PS1. More hours of my life has gone on that game than any other activity I have ever done (which is kind of sad).
There are however so many times that you can play your mates or the computer. FIFA10 delivers an online service that PES isn’t even close to. There are also issues with the new PES AI which very skills players will notice. Play the game on the hardest settings and the AI cheats like no other ...

I didn’t play R1 or R2, however U2 is very different from U1. The gameplay is the same, however:

In U2 everything is bigger and better. You have the collapsing building (which you’re inside), the train chapter and the jumping trucks section, Stealth, platforming while shooting sections, explosive gas tanks everywhere. Even the TPS shooter multiplayer incorporates platforming.

Surely you can see that it's a bad thing for us as gamers. In the UK its the Aracde model price that appears at the end of every advert for hardware and games.
It's also only recently that they have added the upgrade small print at the bottom.
Maybe I’m old school; however I always thought that you buy a console to play games out the box. No issues just turn it on and insert cartridge or disk. Games should be made for the lowest common denominator for that console.
MS just took to step of moving future consoles generations closer to the PC gaming. Now we have to buy upgrades for our consoles mid generation to play the latest games.

Is there any real reason why anybody would want to get Sky through their xbox and not just have it installed in their home?
I understand if you already have sky and it’s just an extra box, but is there another compelling reason that out weights the fact you lose bandwidth, poorer quality picture and don’t get a Sky+ or SkyHD box?
Not signing a 12 month contract is a bit weak. If you can afford £15 a month for a few extra channels that you don’t get with freevie...
I’ve never been somebody that gets scared in games, however that all changed with Dead Space. Not so much with the graphics or setting, but it was the use of sound (IMO) that for me created an atmosphere unmatched in any horror game. It had as much of an impact in that game, that the voice acting has in U2

Not if 3 million people sign up each year. Thats a lot of people remaining who could have there heads turned. Remember that not every feature is liked by the same people. I hate HOME, but the are milllions of people who don't.
MS are focusing on what they believe to be their Unique Selling Points which is basic marketing.

If you want sky, wouldn't you just get it installed in your home and have sky+ or SkyHD. It you didn’t want to pay for installation (about £100) then you can always find deals. My installation cost about £20. For the same price you get TV and your bandwidth isn’t sucked into nothingness.
Happened to me during the final boss fight in U2. Green light, yellow light and then a flashing red. Gutted.
Next day Sony said they would send me a new 60gb refurb for £120 (no questions asked ). Not bad, however I sold it on ebay for £85 and got a slim and a free game on Amazon for £237. I’m now on my 3rd Ps3 because the one I just sold was also a refurb from six months after lunch day release in UK. The first problem was with BR player.
