i brought the ps2 when it first launched it broke down twice due to dre and had to come out of pocket 2 times and never received my money back or a free game from sony.
i agree with your comment on PC it is my best friend. MS on PC games meh not so much. i just want them to do better by GFWL then they have. i support the 360 i just can't support GFWL right now. hopefully that will change

There's really no reason to hate if the split memory is the reason behind the issues. The blame goes to Sony for splitting the memory in the first place. All systems has their limitations when it come to certain games. This just so happens to be the ps3's
About damn time. I had this on pre-order thru steam since the beginning of summer. Between this guild wars 2, halo 4 and forza horizon. I'm good for the rest of the year

I'm still using my original 360 elite that I bought in 05 and it still runs great. Granted its loud but it still runs like the first day I brought it home. I've only know one friend who suffered from RRod and he sent it back and got a new one and haven't had a problem since then.
PS+ wasn't the first service to offer games for free with a membership with subcriptions. as i said before PC gamers was getting the same service for years with gametap. where you could also download free games just for signing up without paying anything but you was limited to certain old arcade/console games.
i do agree competition is good for gamers but PS+ isn't something original since it was already out on another platform.

Everything except for failure rate is all subjective. What you think is quality others may not. Which eliminates a majority of everything you posted. As far as word of mouth goes. That's another subjective matter also. Cause many people also recommended to their friends and love one to also purchase a 360. Which is a reason why it keeps selling

I have no idea why people are disagreeing they have a whole thread about it on steam. I have the PC version but they really need to patch the game. Its still a good game but the problem are really annoying
although the pc version looks great. they really need to patch the damn thing. so tired of it crashing because HkShip.exe has stopped working or it keeps freezing up.
dropping the price for kinect was a good move on MS part. but honestly they need to also drop the price of the 360 as it hasn't had one in years if they want to stimulate more sells going into the holidays.
I agree they have been working on it for along time. But it would push it back even more if they just closed team ico and give it to another one of their studios. Because the new studio may not share the same vision team ico did in creating it.
i think if sony does decide to do it. they will wait and see how the game turns out before they close it down. but that may mean that the sells and the quality have to be good for the lenth of time it took to make it.
