Every company principles are centered around making maximum profits not just microsoft. Thats what all businesses care about which includes market shares.
Sony has also closed down studios. More so recently within the last 2 years and unlike microsoft who would ratther put these studios to work on projects that cater to other gamers to expand to more people than just the core gamer. Sony put studios on project thats in their eyes are suppose to sell on hype and word of mouth....
I would definitely rebuy this game on steam and console.

At first i wanted to buy the steambox. but as of now it's hard to make myself see the reason to get one. I read a lot of people commenting on this that they will purchase it because of their hate for MS. but not one person giving a convincing argument about what will make it worth a buy over just sticking with my PC other than the destruction of MS.
I have over 160 games on steam as of now. so i don't see the reason (as of now)to cough up $400-$600 to buy a steam cons...
I agree with what he's saying. there is no sense of entitlement except from publisher trying to get more money from customers.

Again why only pay $5 dollars less for a new title when you can get it new. That foesnt make sense unless you that cheap. You buy a used game cheap when its been on the stores shelves for months at a time and get it for $40 or lower. So to claim people are doing to save $5 dollars is idiotic when they can wait s month or two and get it under $40-$50 dollars depending on the game and if you have a gamestop card. that's not true. I'm sure people buying used games are saving far more than $5 dollars which is chump change.
i would rather send $65 dollars on a new game than get it for $60. if i buy a used game it's usually for $20 dollars and because i have a discount card may get it cheaper than that for older titles.
actually this was a heated conversation back when it was leaked that sony was thinking of doing it in 2006. i think the only reason they never went forward with the idea was because it generated such backlash and the idea was just shelved until a later date. which maybe now with these new systems from MS and sony.

I can't wait. hopefully it will support B/C which is a big plus for me. so there will be no reason to keep my old 360 when i can play my old games on the new system nor will i have to rebuy games I already own.

Unless I can access all the games I have on my pc from my steam account on their new console then I may purchase it when it release. If not then what will be the point if most if not all the games will end up on pc anyway.

2)alan wake is nothing like heavy rain cause alan wake actually has gameplay. while heavy rain is heavy GTE with with some (not much) gameplay. heavy rain shouldn't even cost $65 ...

I'm not getting neither version or waiting for delux version. because i hate the direction they took it in. this clearly isn't the simcity I waited this long to play. as much as i was hyped for this game. the way they have sh!tted on their longtime fans.(myself included) i rather watch it flop,then to give EA or maxis my money to support game.
