Actually sony never said they wont block used games. They said they weight out their options if they will or wont (waiting to see if ms will do it)

I'm pretty much sticking with the next xbox. I love the service, I love the games (I'm sure they will announce new ip's as well as revive old ones) and the option to get everything in one box is good too. Kinect is pretty cool. I'm all for playing games in different ways.
I wish ms would use hvd as their disk format. That would be insane.

I highly doubt MS would do this. 1) not everyone has a internet cnnection to be online. 2) sony already has a patent for it. I dont see ms wanting to pay sony to use this. I can see sony doing this more then anyone. Since they been wanting to implement this for years now.

IMO yes they did. but they kind of had to. people think it's to get the jump on MS. but that wasn't really the case. i honestly think they had to from their shareholders and try to restore some confidence within the company to try and turn their financial situation around.
sony has been taking loses for the past 5 years straight. their shareholders and consumers are losing faith in them to turn the company around and this was their chance to try and do so.

I'm aware of that. Which is why I was refering to sony getting you to rebuy then again. Even if they use their. loud service. You will have to repay for games you already own.
sony has already proved that ps3 owners with rebuy games again when they did the whole HD remakes. why will they think other wise when they can make money all over again. hell I wouldn't be surprise if they make 4K remake version of games when 4k hdtv's become mainstream.

$ony bundled the ps2+ps3 together to get 6.8 million shipped. which doesn't tell how much the ps3 shipped at all. so unless you have proof that sony shipped more ps3 or even shipped 6 million ps3 within the quarter. then it could very well mean that the ps3 is still behind. since we still haven't heard any from sony announcing that they are ahead of the 360.

Unless they are selling them for $200-$300 a pop its not going to happen. I forsee sony not shipping that amount and changing their forcast cause they couldnt move that amount.
