I think Quaz has a 360, but the 360 can do them kind of resolutions, then can scale the game natively at 720 using the 360's hardware scaler, it is not possible on the PS3, since it uses a technique called Line doubling that is done in software, read my post at 5.4 for more info

Because the PS3 CAN do that resolution, look on the XMB display setting (if you have a PS3), you'll see for yourself, fact is, GTA IV runs at 720p on PS3.

The PS3 uses a line doubling technique that's done in software, the 360 actually uses a good hardware scaler chip, that can do ANY resolution, PS3 has none, so games can only be line-doubled in software, hence 480 line doubled to 720 and 720 line doubled to 1080, not any of these unknown resolutions like 580p, 640p etc.
It is not possible to take a game on the PS3 and Render it in a hardware scaled fashion. It renders Game Assets at their natively rendered state. So all PS3 games...
You can even see on the demo, before you start campaign that the quality and appearence w.e, will not be the same in the final product...
Not possible on 360.

hmm, I disagree about what you said about lower GFX, did you know that the RSX is running a whole gamut of DX10 features into KZ2?, well seeing as OpenGL Mt Evans (OpenGL 3.0), matches DX10 visuals, and can do a whole lot more :)

Install's don't remove pop-in or increase framerate, only lowers loading times.
I wonder if they will lower the resolution to increase framerates and render them at 720p by using the 360's hardware scaler, (Bungie did that with Halo 3) actually, cheating their way to get better framerates than PS3 in multiplatform games, this might be of what happened with Grid Demo & GTA IV framerates, as seen from Eurogamer.
PS3 is getting a few MMO's from NCSoft.
