LOL. More than once I've been playing something and watch a video of some lore or deleted content and get a craving to start the game again. I've regularly played that game since it came out.
Bloodborne.
I like the sound of the rain hitting the rooftops when you're indoors. It gives that sheltered feeling when you get out from under the rain.
I think it's smart to make these announcement on their own terms. Especially if the competition makes big announcements. They have a a chance to adjust and put themselves in a better market position.
Darth Vader is Luke's father.
Well... According to EA Anthem is still "early access". XD
I would recommend Castlevania III first. Curse of the Moon is great, but the easier difficulty and the quality of life improvements they made over CVIII would make the jump feel pretty harsh.
Well... Sony said the price would be "appealing"... $600 is not appealing lol. I think $500 sounds about right.
I hope time log is retroactive. I genuinely want to know how much hours I've put into Bloodborne. XD
"Expertize"... Who made game journalists "experts"? I've been gaming for 30+ years. There's no way some guy who writes an article has more "expertize" than the gamers who actually play FOR FUN. They get handed a game and a deadline and they have to write a review based on how much they play and pretty much fill in the blanks for the rest. In a lot of open world games they don't even finish them. They are bound to miss the mark under those conditions. ...
There's no way in hell this game is a 5/10. That would imply the game is borderline unplayable. And then in the GameSpot review for example, part of the reasons the "critic" disliked the game was because "all zombies were white" even though there's a reason for that explained in the game, the line from the wedding and the fact that he called his wife "old lady", which is biker talk... Yes there is a disconnect. A lot of them are reviewing games based on t...
Putting the optional characters in the ending... It sucked having Vincent in my group ever since he joined my party just to have him completely ignored in the ending.
They can put the videos of their creative process on YouTube or stream it on Twitch. Also have Patreon tiers with goals for their projects. There's plenty of ways to get money out of your talent that you don't involve the guy giving you the tools to pay you.
You're not working for MM... They don't have to pay you. Although the exceptionally talented could use this as a portfolio of sorts for career opportunities.
Sweet! Castlevania III with the superior sound chip soundtrack!
Tellah's death in FFIV was worse imo. Crono getting blasted in Chrono Trigger too... I think it's a good generational thing. I guess a lot of people played FFVII as their first rpg and weren't used to it...
Honestly... They killed her off in the first disc and I didn't care much for the character at that point. There wasn't that many interactions with her, I didn't really have her in my party and after that, you had two more discs so by the end I kind of forgot about it. There's much more memorable and emotional deaths in games... In recent memory Valkyria Chronicles is one that comes too mind.
He basically said "Don't trust my reviews because I'll always give a free pass to the developers".
So he's pandering to the big publishers... That makes this reviewer untrustworthy... Spare me that "livelihood" crap. If someone makes a bad game and the game deserves a bad review, so be it. You are doing NOONE a favor by not writing negative reviews. Actually you would be letting the consumer buy a piece of crap with their hard earned money just to cater to the people who give you review copies and free swag. That's a total lack of integrity.
The thing I find the funniest is how the media dismissed Deacon as a "gruff white male" and honestly I find him to be one of the better written and most memorable character's in a long time. I'm genuinely intrigued to see where his story goes.
