This is so stupid. Next gen should be a battle of providing a true next gen experience. Something you can ONLY play next gen and that encourages people to make the leap.

I think they should've skipped the current gen. I can't help but feel that this will limit how far they can go with the game instead of making something that couldn't be done before.

The worst part to me is that for some reason they wanted to go with a "gruff generic white male" narrative in the reviews pushing this SJW agenda and imo Deacon is one off the best developed main protagonists in the last decade. Yes this game starts a little slow, but as the story goes on it really set itself apart from your average zombie apocalypse game.
To me the Resident Evil 1 Remake is the series at its very best.

I played this game after the HD remaster. I didn't play it back in the day. I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil and went in with an unbiased, cleared head. It was horrible...
