E3 was becoming more irrelevant by the year. The bigger names were slowly dropping out. This event was more for the journalists which nowadays are more concerned about being offended than covering games anyways.
That's the sad state of video game "journalism" nowadays. Just over analyzing everything and faking outrage over non issues.
Last time I checked, Mickey Mouse had a dog. Who cares about this stuff?
I didn't even realize there was an actual release date to delay...
Loot boxes are not the issue, micro transactions are. If it's loot boxes you buy with some in game currency as part of the grind I don't really have a problem with. If you can buy that in game currency with real money money then that's when things start getting really stupid.
There's no safe rooms.... Only rooms.
As if raw power is the only reason people like playing on a pc...
"Anyone else notice that in operator mode, Cloud holds his sword like Zack, whereas in Punisher mode he holds his sword over his head pointed down, like Sephiroth? Foreshadowing his backstory from the moment you get into the first battle, I love it."
Well that's a reach if I ever saw one... There's only so many ways you can effectively hold a sword that big. Doesn't really mean anything...
Silent Hill 2.
Team Silent made SH 1-4. From there the franchise was handed to western developers and they could never quite capture what made the series great. They couldn't recreate the psychological horror of the original games.
Honestly the gameplay in SH was never tight. It was the story and atmosphere that made that series a true classic. But it went downhill after team Silent disbanded. That's what truly killed the series.
Not sure dropping all horror for action is "evolving".
Translation "I only used Cloud cause Cloud is life and whenever I hit big metal thing it just goes *clink*"
I'm sure it will get an "Episode 1" or something at some point. As the rest drop out they can't all be called the same thing.

Power off your PlayStation 4 and do not use rest mode.
Hold the power button down until you hear two quick beeps. This will alert you that you have entered Safe Mode.
Safe mode screen
Connect your DualShock 4 controller to your USB-A slot in the front of the PlayStation 4.
Scroll down in the menu until you reach option 5, Rebuild Database.
Rebuild screen
Press the X button to ...
Rebuild database and do a full shut down every once in a while. I think too many sleep mode resumes start cluttering the memory and it gets slow. I've had awful slowdown on the XMB.
"After installing the beta update, it can be confirmed that the console now supports HDCP 2.3 instead of the old HDCP 2.2.
HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is used to provide additional security for digital content."
AMAZING! I sure had nothing better to do than read through 3 paragraphs for THAT
I think they should give people the option to adjust sliders. A lot of games on the PS4 pro do this already. You can choose between prioritizing framerate or visuals. PC has been doing this forever. It'd be great if devs gave players the choice to customize their experience.
No and no...

My main issue with N4G is fake outrage or "SJW" opinion pieces where the discussion is not the game itself but some aspect of the game and how that's "offensive". Case in point, a recent article about from The Gamer about how the concept of adding pets to Animal Crossing would be problematic because the characters are already animals. It's literally an opinion piece expressing how a HYPOTHETICAL situation represents a moral dilemma in a gam...
