Having said that, I bet there will be broken release date somewhere. In US, I bet on Sears. They did that 4-5 days early with GHIII and seemed to get away with it just fine. I'm pretty sure it was done intentionally, as their weekend newspaper ad said it right on the front page.

It says it right there, that for the BETA, MGO IS NOT (that means opposite of IS) being tested through PSN, but independently.
That's the reason you need to create a separate ID. When the game comes out you WILL be using your PSN id.

What you are describing is only a part of "hostile takeover", a tactic that is used to gain votes. And you needs votes because Company B's management has already told you to take a hike. It's when the situation becomes hostile.

It's a matter of prefernce. Look up "NHL0X vs NHL 2KX" and you will find a flame war. You like one, I like the other. In case of NHL08, I was extra-pissed off because the framerate was really bad compared to x360 version. EA screwed PS3 owners last summer big time.
