But I still want to know - when's it getting fixed? I want a 360, but won't buy one until it's sorted out.
It's not that Wii forgot about hardcore gamers - Wii just want them to start playing casual games.
I have a 40GB (now 250GB) and the original 60GB. Never noticed much heat, but the fan goes on high on both models
I played NG:B on original Xbox and Sigma on PS3. To me, the controllers didn't make any difference. Sigma had the advantage of added gameplay, but the cutscenes didn't port well from SD to HD.
I really hope NG2 comes for PS3. Sometimes when they port games later they fix things that people complain about in original versions. With Itagaki gone - expect Tecmo to milk this game for all it's worth.

... doesn't matter. If you have your console long enough, you'll eventually fill it. Game installs (2-4GB a pop) Rock Band and GH downloads, not to mention demos and video.
Rather then wait for it to become a problem, I replaced my 40GB drive with 250GB drive. $80 and 10 minutes of my time. Well worth it for the same price of one limited edition game.
Except I don't think Nintendo is focusing on the core gamer at all. "Casual Gamer" is a fad and like all fads, will be dead overnight when the next craze comes along. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be a year from now, but it will happen.
Digitally distributing the games will make them a ton of money.
No longer you will be able to go into GameStop and buy a used copy of the game that you didn't want bad enough to buy new. No longer will you be able to put the game that you bought for $59.99 and found that it has no replay value on eBay to get some of your money back.
Basically. they will make sure that every penny goes into their own pocket.
Say good bye to the used game market.
@gtafan
OK, I don't know why I bother, but here we go:
"Don't be surprised to know that it only costs less than 50.00 dollars to 100.00 dollars to develop these systems."
You see, developing electronic products is not the same as printing the "Proud to be a redneck" t-shirts that you sell.
When they say it costs $700 to make a console, it means that this cost is based on research (deveolping the Cell processor, in...
No, it does not. It has a LARGER library, due to being out earlier. I would say eventually both consoles will be the same in terms of game diversity. MS made the right move by getting FF, they learned from their last-gen mistakes. We'll never know for sure how much they had to pay, if they did at all.
Just a piece of advice:
Buying a stolen iPod for $5-10 and selling it for $150-300 on eBay does not make you an expert on business and "commercialism".
Buying a console for a single game that isn't even out yet is just plain stupid.
How do you know that game will be good? There's probably a lot of people who bought a 360 or a PS3 just to play GTAIV and ultimately were disappointed.
Us old people can buy as many consoles as we want. But for school/college students $300-$600 plus games is a lot of money. If money is an issue, you have to be a bit more careful selecting what you want to buy. Take a look at what th...
10 Cars? Is that a typo?
flippity-flop.
Weak attempt at creating artificial panic.
"easy to make, easy to sell casual games". This will NOT sell at all. There will always be people trying to cash in on whatever's hot. They will FAIL.
Expect this game in the bargain bin a month after it's release.
You're not getting it and neither are the rest of us. We'll have to see the game first before judging. We're applying the 256 player concepts to the games we already played (COD4, Warhawk), but this game might and probably will be a totally different animal.
But I'll bet you that this was already said in meeting rooms when they first started planning the game and they did figure out the logistics of it before they started to code.
You would think that's the question a reporter wants to ask first but no...
My personal preference is TPS, so the answer to that question would decide for me wether I'm getting this game or not.
I hope you're right.
Did you see what's coming in tomorrow's 1.4? (NO, IT'S NOT TROPHIES)
*2 New Game modes - they look awesome.
* Award updates (Dist. Air Combat is now 5,000 kills instead of 10,000)

No.
You're just gonna have to settle for Jessica Alba, like the rest of us.
"GTA games are so damn gay"
Unlike your Batman fetish.
They actually passed it. I can't believe it. It'll be appealed and then revoked, but who knows how long it will take.
That means that the prople who will get screwed - are NY's retailers. Everyone will buy their consoles and games online, in NJ, CT or PA.
