Trust me, in case of Mercenaries 2 - no one wins :)))
I would hate to have SP go away for the simple reason: If you only play online, you will have to stop playing when everyone else stops playing. Even if you really love a game - you'll have no choice but to move on if there's no one to play with.
Also, you are dependent on the quality of your internet service. If you live in the busy neighborhood, you'll be experiencing a slowdown (meaning lag) during the evening hours, when everyone else is in front of their computer/console. ...
I have 410 hours in Warhawk (half of it flying) and still have my original sixaxis. But I do agree that the L2, R2 buttons could have been implemented better.
I'll wait for the patch.
Do you feel that solid framerate, game NOT freezing, responsive controls and usable camera are "too much" to expect?
That's why in the article he says that you have to be careful of what you say, because it will be used against you in court. Now that he no longer works at MS, he can talk as free as the rest of us.
The part where he says "I'm no investment banker"
"I said, 'You know, things break', and then I was called Marie Antoinette – let them eat cake. But the context I was using wasn't flippant, the sentence was, 'things break, but our job is to go fix it for you'. So what I said was twisted to that it looked like I didn't care."
But who knows, it's his word against the reporter, they are both professional liars.
Less talking, more fixin'. Madden 09 is a good place to start.
IGN staff did an 8 hour playthrough ( http://ps3.ign.com/articles... and at the end of the article they mention some serious technical problems still in the game. With a month left to release, I doubt these will be fixed:
"the pre-release version that I played still had many of the technical deficiencies (and a few new ones) that I saw from the first. Cars occasionally got stuck in other objects a...
I wouldn't release it on blu-ray. R&C:ToD was a great game, but it didn't sell all that well. It's much more expensive to print BDs and ship them to the stores than to just offer it as DLC. At $14.99, it just doesn't make sense. A BR release of a $15 game may even turn a lot of people off. If I didn't know anything about R&C series and saw a PS3 game that was priced $15, I'd just assume it's a really $hytty game, like anything else that's labeled as a bargain bin price.
You probably won't need it - 360s never break. Except mine, but I'm sure it was just a rare occurence.

As punishment, have their genitals slammed by a microwave door. 10 times each.
Then you did the right thing.
I hate cats, but that's just fvked up - nothing funny about that.
Game Informer did not put Resistance 2, Motorstorm and SOCOM on their list! I have to run and cancel my preorders now! If GI didn't put it in their top 25 list then I'm definitely not going to like them!
I'll bet you'll see Warhawk Complete Edition on BR soon - it will contain the game and all the expansion packs.
If you have an internet connection - there will always be humans to play with.
OK, sorry, I meant something I want.
1.) SingStar Disney - OK, maybe my 4 year old would be into it. For 15 minutes.
2.) PSP300 - My original PSP still works fine.
3.) 160GB PS3 - No, I just replaced my 40GB hard drive with a 250GB.
4.) Music Download Service - I've had it for years, I use one called "The Internet".
5.) Eye Pet - Really?
It's not the first time this happened. It's always "We f**king hate system X" A year later: "Well, we never really hated it, it's just it wasn't selling well and was complicated, we just needed some time, etc.,"
