Have you looked at any other stocks? Like investment banks, auto makers, etc.? It's normal - we're in the middle of financial disaster.

On a related note, I think you will see movie studios buying game developers pretty soon. And it will be a bad thing.

This is the 7th article today. All it makes me think of is that Peter Moore interview where he talked about how they were doing viral marketing campaigns when launching the 360. My guess is they're at it again.

I stopped playing MS:PR only because Resistance 2 came out. Pacific Rift is the best racer on PS3 to date, IMO.
But even if this was the case, I doubt they would do a good job porting it. I don't have a 360, so I played the first GeoW on PC and it took two weeks of combing the internet for solutions to get the game to run right, so I don't have confidence that they would do any better on PS3.
I don't think GeoW2 will come to PS3, but to me the biggest sign of trouble for MS was the fact that Peter Moore, the head of Xbox division LEFT THE COMPANY. People who work in corporate world know that you don't just leave a job like that if things are good.

I think the next GTA will be much better. Why? Because R* has received a much needed wake up call from Saints Row 2. I swear, I really didn't think that I would enjoy it, but now that I played it, I have to say that if SR2 had better graphics, GTA would lose it's crown for good.

Your post proves my point - these things are not very clearly defined to people living outside U.S. So I would say no one meant any offense when this game was created. It looks like they were just firing off some western punchlines without getting to much into it "love u long time" is another western culture reference.

And she's drawn to any game on PS3 that has SIXAXXIS support. She like the original Motorstorm the most, but only with motion controls activated. Besides, her thumbs don't reach the analog sticks yet anyway.
I'll get her a Wii eventually, but she hasn't asked for it yet, even though she plays it at her cousin's house all the time.
Give your daughter an old/broken controller and tell her that she's the one playing (assuming she's of age where she understands the concept, if not disregard what I said). generally, I do the same as you - play after 9:00PM after both kids are in bed. When my daughter was born, I played more then I do now.
The wife was up with her all night, so I stayed with my daughter during the day while my wife slept. Since the baby was taking several long naps during the day, I sat and played my PS2 while it was quiet. My wife didn't mind, since I couldn't do anything around the house - it would be too noisy.

In a lot of other countries they look at American pop culture and try to immitate it, without knowing the background of where it all came from. I love the PSP, but I haven't bought anything new since GoW (not a fan of the FF series). I'm sitting here looking at Amazon to see if I missed any old games that are good.
Looking at the future release schdule, I don't see anything I like other then Resistance and Samurai Shodown Anthology, for all of 2009. If the rumors are true, maybe Motorstorm.
P.S. They should add trophies to PSP as well.
You guys can defend it all you want, but this game is broken. I gave up on it the day after 1.20 patch came out. I'll try it again after 1.30, but I doubt the two issues that bother me the most will be fixed in it (at least socom.com posts make no mention of them being fixed):
1.) The lag. (Don't say I have bad connection (CoD, Resistance 2 and Warhawk run flawlessly for me)
2.) The glitch where the characters left hand is raised a foot over the gun - I can not a...
