1) MS didn't really want to back HDDVD, they wanted to back any format that went against sony's.
2) MS wants the 360 to be the driving force for DD, and if everything goes right, 360 will the main source of TV/gaming in european households
3) MS doesn't want to put a BD player on the 360, but they might. mainly cause its a blow to their image since they were dissing blu-ray.
4) contrary to sonytards, MS putting BR player is a punch in the stomach,...
that means they have more units in people's hands than 360!
