nintendo doesn't own Rare anymore. Nor do they own the goldeneye/007 franchise. they have propriety rights to the n64 emulator though.
Sony has i believe 40% ownership of Square. but it doesn't own the FF series. Squeenix can release ff7 on wii if it wants to. Sony won't make it easy, but they could.
Nor does Sony own Bungie. Bungie doesn't own the Halo license. MS does. So Sony might get Bungie games, but not Halo specifically.
nintendo would not ever do anything that seems at all greedy!

im going to see how long dmc4 ps3 stays on the charts to gauge what kinda of impact sony can make against the nintendo behemoth.
sony has a lot of big hitters 2008, but it wont mean jack if they have 1 game in the charts and 40 nintendo ones nipping at its heels every week.

if you go by the articles approved in N4g, you would NO ONE is being able to play or even log onto their xbox. when that isnt the case.

anyways, my anti-halo 3 is gears of war. sure it's only 4 vs 4, but GoW is more strategic, exhilirating, and defined than halo 3.

doesn't have as many people on it and its only a year old.
xbox live has been running fine for 5 years, this is the first time this has happened.
talk to me when you have 2/3 the people xbox live has online and tell me if you have any problems.

N4g has become a cesspool where all of the console war fanboys mesh and spend all day dissing each other's systems.
it's gotten so popular that revenue from ads has left enough leftover that contributors can win $2000 for submitting stories from the internet.
