They shouldn't have succumb to EA 5 years ago.
Now its sad they are leaving, but hardly a surprise.
I know one more way to fix it: Stick to your promises.
Highly doubtful.
"Reliable source" who asked to be "anonymous" riiiiiiight.
It's no news they're working on it....let Valve Time be Valve Time and shut up already...it'll come.
For those of you who disagree with me on my first comment above - read this:

@DevilishSix - I'm not saying its going to get better from here - the BioWare I know has long since past.
It just doesn't come to much of a surprise to me.
@Cleft5 - I'm sorry but the company got bought up in 2007 and then we saw Multiplayer introduced to a single player driven game, we saw things like "Action" and "Story" mode added to ME3 - in order to bring new fans to the series (ie. more money) - and the ending was just the cream of the crop.
I'm not entirely blaming it on these guys - but they surely had their part in it too.
BioWare sadly did what a lot of companies do to good...
I don't think that's overstated at all. The BioWare we know is long gone.
Well it seems like after the lackluster success of Star Wars Online, the controversy surrounding DA2 and ME3 - EA finally pulled the plug and let some heads roll.
I say: Good!
Let someone else take over - however I fear that it'll be another indoctrinated EA manager.
The good ol' days of BioWare seem to have come to an end.
However if it was up to them and they decided to leave the industry as a whole - who can blame ...
Yes they are. Consoles will die out.
Duke Nukem Forever 2 :D hahaha
I'm sorry but a lot of things happened - which happens a lot to other franchises in this industry as well - however that doesn't necessarily make it right. Multiplayer was added - the franchise was turned and twisted in order to make it more appealing for newcomers (ie. more money) by adding modes like "Action" and "Story" which completely took away some of the experience what made Mass Effect great - and gave people a no-brainer to walk through the game.
...
After what happened to the Mass Effect Franchise, I'm sorry - BioWare is phenomenal at story telling but I can't feel excited about any product from them anymore. And sadly - that's whether or not they are under EA rulership. :-/
And those who agree should do something about it and let your voices be heard.
It just shows exactly how broken the current state of the gaming industry is and how lucrative and interesting the indie game scene is.
I think (and somewhere I hope) - that the indie scene will be the future of creating games.
Right now - publishers are milking too many franchises and are spending too much money on trivial things like getting professional actors to voice their games.
That's all nice and all - but it isn't required an...
I think we'll see Origin on iPhone soon...
Gotta love N4G...it's becoming more like 4Chan now.
That's the funniest thing ever....make a website, called it something fancy - like VGleaks, make it look like a company - by saying things like "someone has sent US specs" - hiding the fact that the site is probably run by a single guy - and then post whatever crap other people send in claiming its official. Gotta love the internet -__-
I call this complete bogus and a waste of your time...
That's what they said about BioWare and look where we are...
An open world would be perfect - because a lot of people mentioned that MGS4 was too much Action and not enough Espionage.
Open World could provide you with a valid choice, and if the footage we've seen, is anything to go by, an open world will give you the ultimate challenge of staying covert.
I think its a great approach - but I equally understand how people are worried about it from a narrative perspective.
Not only Mike was right. It's fairly obvious Mass Effect continues - given the financial success of the franchise.
