Prey
It's because people still don't understand the concept of not spending money when they don't like the company or their products.
I am proud to say -
-> I've never played Battlefield 3
-> I've never played the new Sim City
-> I've never played Dead Space 3
-> I've never played Mass Effect 3
...and I'm happy with that. I can sleep at night, knowing that I don't spend money ...
It's mind boggling to me how people still don't understand the principle of spending money and especially NOT spending money. One look on Sim City's Wikipedia page also reveals that one of the core designers of Sim City was one of the core designers of Diablo 3 xD
Sim City is a prime example of why the underground cracking scene is a necessary evil.
Anyway - learn to not finance companies that screw up this bad and then take it out on their custo...
They're just waiting until the initial sales (with which they are making their money) die down.
They could still have another character in Mass Effect 4 and say: Shepard has been indoctrinated. We must save him!
Gearbox should really be focusing on their own IPs and new IPs - instead of messing around in somebody else's.
Too little too late. Nice to see Blizz screwing about with its oldest (PC) fan base.
One prime example: Mass Effect series. Wasn't the best graphics - but hey - it got people so much involved - they went complete crazy on the ending - it managed to make people cry and in some extreme cases, at least one person committed suicide.
I suppose that also makes another point very clear: Getting your players emotionally evolved brings a lot of responsibility - if those people are emotional people from the start.
What could be so taboo?
I'm thinking - if the Postal series got released, why not this game? =P
- Rape?
- Child Abuse?
- Animal Cruelty?
If it's not any of those - I'm sure it'll be fine.
faaaaaake - http://hmcindie.deviantart.... - and it's hilarious how everyone fell for it.
You have to remember - a lot of the things that were not revealed are going public during the various gaming show this year. If Sony wants to release the PS4 during holiday season - they still have a full year of opportunities to Wow us with more things. And don't forget the games in the last cycles of the PS4. It took a good life span of the PS3 to wow us with games like Uncharted 3. The PS4 announcement was just the beginning.
Of course they'll call it that.
Actually I was hoping that since relic belongs to sega now - they might push harder on Homeworld 3
The D3 announcement was sort of really awesomely....underwhelming. -__- and here I thought they'd announce their next big thing.
Did we really ask for a third AoT?
Blizzard - where did it all go so wrong?
Just like with the PS3 - I think we'll be seeing the really good games towards the middle or end of the console's life cycle - when developers have learned a trick or two about the console development and using it to its best abilities.
It was kind of strange to see the PS4 being announced, but not seeing the actual console.
With Blizzard jumping on the console wagon - is the PC market really dying?
#1 - No DRM
