Cloud gaming (Origin)
Simple steps:
1) Go to: http://www.blogger.com
2) Pick fancy name
3) Write your own opinion that nobody cares about
4) Spam it on N4G
5) Call yourself a journalist.
You'll fit right in with the rest.
lol he says "Fuck DirectX" - but it powers all your games.
suits them
I worked for Activision several years and they never reminded me of this. Huh...go figure.
Go away
I think WoW has become on of the most boring games in the industry.
I had a look at the changes - they now made it even more idiot proof.
Who cares? It'll come when it'll come.
You're wasting time waiting - when you should be playing games!
Oh please - let's not throw around words like "journalism".
Nowadays anyone who has access to a blog is becoming a gaming "journalist" - thinking of themselves as some sort of high society.
It's grown totally out of proportion.
...and the death of consoles.
I would love to see indie games take over and platforms like Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter replacing greedy publishers. In my opinion that would be the greatest turn off events in this industry.
Whoever said the PC is a dying platform can't be any more wrong.
Ever since consoles arrived - PC turned into this hated platform for no apparent reason.
We wouldn't even be here with the gaming industry if it weren't for the PC.
It will always be here to stay...
...well unless Microsoft keeps Metro anyway.
The whole origin thing launched on a worrying EULA and EA started removing their catalogue from steam - which I think is a grave mistake - even on their part. If money is the only thing on their mind, they would've been much better off keeping most of their games and releasing new games on steam as well. And let's not forget the clause that they enforce you to keep your account active otherwise you lose access to your games.
Not to mention their customer service.
I had no idea BioWare had any fans left...
Well I continue to vote with my wallet.
I never touched origin and I never will and as good as some of their games may be - I'm not spending a cent on them.
No regrets
I'm really starting to hate EA more and more.
Another good developer dies under a publisher...
But I think they're better off this way.
These guys will move on to better things.
My name is Boxxy!
ok seriously that is not cool at all.
Really Gearbox?
Right out manipulating an image from someone else, hoping that nobody notices, is one thing.
But doing it without asking the original artist??
And then fan creations get shut down by the industry with "cease or desist" orders??
You gotta be fucking kidding me...
That is not a good sign for ME4 in terms of people who were hoping that Shepard's story continues.
